Ch.2

Present

I just arrived at the party a few minutes ago and I head over to the snack table grabbing some chips.

(Wooyoung): Hey Y/n, it's great to see you here. Thank you for doing this.

(Y/n): Your welcome, and to be honest I didn't have anything planned for today anyway so, as long as I have something to do I don't care. Plus, I'm gonna be benefiting from this in the end.

(Wooyoung): Haha, yeah your right, anyway I saw some of my friends in the kitchen, mind if I leave you here and go hang out with them for a bit?

(Y/n): Yeah of course, you can stay with them as long as you want, I'll just be here.

Wooyoung then nods his head leaving me with an apologetic look. It's times like these where I'm happy that there are kind people out there like Wooyoung.

I've known Wooyoung since I was 5, we used to play together at the park when we were kids. To this day we are still kinda close, but, hes one of the popular guys now so I find it hard to hang out with him, especially since I'm one of the "losers".

After a few minutes of me standing here eating chips, an older woman approaches.

(?): Um, excuse me- I need a plate.

I gasp while apologizing and move over to the side a bit. As she grabs her plate and starts serving herself I take a look at her face and notice that she's actually really pretty. However she does look kind of familiar....

(?): Sorry dear, you can move back now.

(Y/n): It's fine- but...can I ask you something? Why do you look so familiar?

She just chuckled but before she could answer Seonghwa strides up to us and puts his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him.

(Seonghwa): Well I see you've met my mom.

(Y/n): Oh my gosh! Oh! That's why you look familiar, you guys look a lot alike.

(Mom): Haha, he takes after me a lot I guess. Anyway, you must be Y/n, Seonghwa told me about you. I'm happy he finally got a girlfriend, months of nagging has finally payed off. Honestly, I'm just more surprised. I didn't think he would bring home anyone as pretty as you.

I blush at her words and look down mumbling a slight "thank you ma'am"

(Mom): Oh no- don't call me that, call me mom from now on, don't worry, we shouldn't treat each other like strangers.

I nod my head and she was about to walk away but quickly turned back.

(Mom): Oh and I want you to stay the night tonight, it's Saturday and I want to take you out tomorrow for some bonding, and I'm not taking a no for an answer. You can sleep in Seonghwa's room.

After she leaves, me and Seonghwa look at each other flabbergasted.

This is not gonna end well....
