Harry's POV

*One week later*

Today was our one year anniversary and I was nervous because today would also be the day that I would propose. I hadn't planned anything for the morning and early afternoon so we didn't have to wake up early.

Louis was still asleep so I went downstairs to make breakfast. I baked pancakes and waffles and I had ice cream and even more toppings. I was nearly done when Louis came downstairs. He was still in his pyjamas and he looked very tired.

"Good morning baby. Happy one year anniversary." I said while giving him a kiss. "Good morning and happy one year anniversary for you too." He said while smiling. In these past few months, Louis wasn't shy anymore. He became more bold and I liked it. He was getting really sassy.

"Eat your breakfast and then you can change into something special." While I said that I heard a knock on the door. It was Louis' clothes he ordered. I went to the door and grabbed a big box. Louis jumped excitingly. I gave the box to him and he ate his breakfast very fast.

He took the box upstairs and he started unpacking. After a while he came downstairs with a frown on his face. "I didn't order this." He said while holding up a few dresses. "Indeed because I did." He looked at me with a look like 'Why you didn't have to'. "Go change" I said to him and he went upstairs again.

After an hour he came downstairs and wow. He looked breathtaking. He had a short black dress on but it was poofy on the underside and the back was open. "Oh my god baby you look so pretty." "Thank you Haz. But now you have to dress up." He tapped my nose and I chuckled.

I went upstairs to pick an outfit and after a while I found the perfect outfit. It was a light blue button-up which matches perfectly with Louis' eyes and black skinny jeans. I styled my hair which was very long at this point and I went downstairs again.

I came downstairs and I saw Louis gaping at me. "You look handsome Haz." "Thank you baby." I said and I pulled him in for a kiss. After a while we pulled away and we walked to the car.

We got in and I drove to the location. We arrived at the park and there was a small picnic. It looked very cosy and cute. Louis looked very happy and that's what is most important to me.

We ate the food until we had eaten everything. It was around 3pm so we could go to our next destination which was pretty far away.

"Come on boo, we're going to your next surprise." I offered my hand so he could stand up and he gratefully accepted. We held hands the whole time to the car and we got inside again. I started the engine and we took off.

We drove to the beach which was an one hour drive and when we arrived we walked to the beach. We decided to walk a bit because it was quite early still. When the sun started to set we walked to the truck that was set up for us.

Louis gasped when he saw the truck. "Oh my god, this is so pretty." Louis said while taking place in the truck. "Anything for you baby" I said while climbing in next to him. I felt next to me and I felt the small box with the ring. I sighed in relief that it didn't get lost.

The sun continued to set and the sky looked so beautiful so I knew this was the moment.

"Lou come and stand in front of the car will you?" He gave me a questioning look and I shrugged it off. He stood in front of the car in front of me. I had the box in my pocket and I knew everything would be alright.

"Louis, more than one year ago you came into my life. I knew from the minute I saw you on that bench that I wanted to share a life with you. I want that still. I want us to last. I don't want to have an amazing few months and then it be all over in a flash. I don't want to experience the feeling of hurt, confusion and disappointment. No matter what we run into and no matter how hard things get, I want us to stick together forever. So Louis William Tomlinson, will you make me the happiest person alive and marry me?"

I got on one knee and I got the box from my pocket and showed it to him. Louis was crying by now and he gasped when he saw the ring.

"Of course I'll marry you Haz. I love you so much." He cried while I got up and I put the ring on his finger. "I love you too baby. So so much." We just held each other for a few minutes until Louis spoke; "I love the ring Haz." "I'm glad you like it. I responded.

We went to a small cabin on the beach that I rented and we kissed each other. The kiss became more heated and I laid Louis down on the bed. "I'm going to make you feel how much I love you." I said to him.

That night I made love to him again. But it felt different. There was more passion because we knew we would be together forever.
