Dear Diary,
Today is my birthday! May gave me a cool pant chain and this diary as a gift, so I decided to replace my old diary with this one~! It has a secret lock that only opens when I sprinkle powdered sunshine on it, so I guess there's nothing wrong with me writing about our secret in here!
May said that as a mahou enby we should probably make fake aliases for others who share our secret to refer to us, she still calls me Boba though despite the new names, maybe I should start calling her cookie just so we'll be even. 🍪
We ended up battling in Samata town early this morning. It's my birthday and I can't even sleep in? I wish mahou enby could take days off. It was (of course) another shadow demon, we dealt with it quickly, though I might have gotten M̶a̶y̶ Cookie caught in my tornado leading her to get covered in demon blood. She's lucky I live on Uniko street and she can use my shower, that stuff's stinky.
We weren't able to save her white nightgown unfortunately, and her already bandaged hands and legs are covered too, making it look like she got massacred. I'm really lucky I didn't get any on my clothes, just my boots that were easy to clean. Now I see why Cookie told me that unless it's an emergency and we have to go fight immediately, change our normal bodies into all-black clothing.
After some excuses of why we were both sweaty and exhausted this early in the morning, and why May is covered in, "red paint" we got changed and went out. Because it's my birthday I ended up getting dragged around town, but having fun nevertheless. We went to Cassie's for breakfast, apparently it's the best breakfast in town. May wouldn't let me order the strawberry cake, for reasons I don't know. Instead I got a strawberry bubble tea and their famous blueberry waffle.
We're eating right now and I'll write about what else we do tomorrow, I don't want to sit here writing and ignoring my friends all day. I guess that's all for now,
