Chapter 11 : Blissful Moments

"They Are Close But Yet So Far"

Chapter starts with Kaira looking at each other. Their eyes were showing each and every emotion they were carrying for each other.Their eye lock was broken by Kairav's voice.

"Mumma! Please make Kachoris for us today." Kairav said.

"You know me and Papa missed your Kachoris so much." He added.

"Ok Kairav! I'll make but first take your medicines. Ok?" Sirat said and left to his room to bring his medicines.

Kairav ran towards Kartik.

"Papa... What we will do now? It's all a lie that I am not well. I don't want to eat those sour medicines." Kairav said making faces.

"What can I do now?" Kartik said biting his nails.

"Papa... You only have to find the solution afterall plan was yours." Kairav said

"Accha ji. You also supported me na" Kartik argued.

"Voh toh you are my my father and it's my duty to listen to you na." Kairav added in argument.

Just then, Sirat entered with medicines in her hand making them remember their Mission. Both father - son looked at each other helplessly.

Sirat was about to feed medicine to Kairav when suddenly she heard Kartik's shout.

"Ahh!" Kartik held his right hand.

Sirat ran towards him.

"What happened Kartik Ji?" She asked worried.

"Woh... Actually my hand for burn during cooking food." Kartik said wincing in pain.

"But who said you to cook? I was going to make Kachoris na after feeding Kairav medicines?" Sirat asked at both father - son looked at each other worried.

"Umm... Vo" Kartik was finding excuse.

"It's ok. Come with me. I'll put cream on burnt area." Sirat said and took Kartik with her and put cream on his fake burnt hand.😂

Sirat was blowing air on his burnt area so as to provide a relief to him and he was just adoring her. He can clearly see the care and love for him in her eyes.

"Naira kyun kar rahi ho aisa? Humare saath bhi aur khud ke saath bhi. Kyun tadpa (yearn) rhi ho aur tadap ( yearn) Rhi ho." His trance of thoughts were broken when Sirat snapped her fingers in front of him.

"What happened Kartik Ji. Is it paining?" She asked.

"No, I am fine." He took his hand back.

"Ok!" She replied and left to kitchen for making Kachoris.

Sirat was serving Kachoris to Kartik and Kairav. Happy Moments of Past flashed in front of them.

After serving, she was about sit with Kairav when, Akshu who was in Kartik's lap started crying and she in baby language signed her to sit with her means beside Kartik and so she sat beside Kartik. Kartik smiled to himself.

"Wow Mumma Kachori is so tasty." Kairav said happily and Sirat smiled.

"Just like Naira... Your Kachoris Taste like Naira's!" Kartik whispered so as to see her reaction but to his surprise she was expressionless.

It was Evening and Akshu was sleeping. Kartik was doing his office work. Sirat and Kairav were sitting and playing.

Just then, Kartik's phone rang. It was a video call from Home. He saw it and rubbed his forehead in tension as he knew that again they will start his marriage topic. He declined and it again started ringing. He again declined but again, atlast being irritated he picked the call.

"Hmm. Kahiye" He said irritated on phone.

"Kya hua Kittu? Bahut pareshan dikh rhe ho?" Dadi asked.

"Aap sab logo ki wajah se hi pareshan huu." Me mumbled under his breath.

"Huh. Tumne kuch kaha" Dadi asked.

"Nahi.. Bilkul Nahi dadi." He replied.

Just then, Behind him dadi spotted a girl but only her back was visible to her.

"Kittu tumhare picche yeh ladki kon hai?" Dadi asked making Kartik shocked.
