Time stands still for just a moment
I long to see humanity unfroze
But everyone is frozen in place and here, I remain
Free from time, alone with mindKilling time, I run wild
Honestly, who could stop me
I dance and sing , knowing no one is watching
No one is listening
I am at peaceI run miles and miles
I stop at gas stations and grab water
Not even bothering to set money on the counter because it is just meI run through the fields, forests , the plains,
I climb the mountains for the thrill
Knowing if I fall, no one can save meBut after awhile, I crave the sound of another person’s voice
I return back home to see my mother frozen , cooking at the stove
My sister , still holding her cat
They’re like statues in a museum and I am the visitor
Thinking they’re so lifelike, but motionless they remainFrozen in time forever
Me, begging Father Time to unfreeze them and let me go back to the life I knewBut it doesn’t and I return to the road, and live in eternal patience
While I know my time is running out
