Ch.2

I told him that I liked her and he laughed. "Who would want you? An old husky, wolf hybrid that is 6 years old He said, teasingly.

"By the way," Mia said, "He is 17 and I'm 16. "Well I am 17" Sam said pompously. "So..?" I said, annoyed. "He is such a showoff," Mia said. "Who cares?!?" I said to Sam. He was getting on my nerves. "I do," he said with sass

"There is something about you"", I said to Sam. Do you know the witch of the woods? He looked nervous and did not answer. Well, we know the witch and she has a plan. If you are one of us we can fill you in. He did not answer but looked very interested. She said that I have to find 2 friends and the three of us could visit sometime if we cannot find food. But we have to survive on our own mostly. She'll turn us back in a YEAR." I said, thinking it was too long. I had a human life, not a wolf one. "WHAT" he yelled. "That's so long. We all have school and our lives. We can't be dogs like this."

"Well we have to" Mia said, "It's all we can do for now and in ,at most, two months, we will learn to survive and can work as a team. If we do that the year will go on faster than we think." I said that I agreed. Sam, all pumped up, said, "Okay, let's do this!"

First, we needed to find food cause we could not keep eating trash. So we went into the woods, but in a different area from where the witch lived. Sam wanted to hunt animals like wolves. He said it would be fun, and it will be fresh. Mia, always realistic, disagreed, saying that we should just eat leftovers but I asserted myself and gave my opinion. I wanted to hunt because the leftovers could make us sick. We couldn't all agree. "Okay, but this is new, so don't get ahead of yourselves" Mia said all motherly and protectively. Kinda weird since we didn't meet that long ago. Sam spotted a rabbit and I dashed like a cheetah over to it. Sam ran after me. Mia rushed after us, determined to catch up. We were like a pack of wolves. Actual wolves, in sync. Mia was barking and howling to make it confused and at the last minute I jumped and Mia yelled, in realization, "NO, I SEE A DEER! LET'S HUNT THAT," Her voice threw me off track and I hit my head hard on the ground and the rabbit got away.

Sam said "Bro are you ok?" I said "yes" in a hurting voice. Sam was, for some reason, worried. "Mia, you could have killed him," Mia wasn't concerned, though. "What? Killed him? He just fell. Besides, that rabbit would not be big enough for all three of us," Mia said.

After all that, I got up. We went to hunt the deer. We were successful and got it.

We planned to do this for the year. Stay in the forest and make sure to not go into the city. We would only leave our spot when we were going to see the witch. We were worried about our families but we knew that this was the best way for now. We all went to go and find a place to sleep.

We talked during our walking trip. We found out that we had all gone to the same school and as it turns out, Mia was in my class. I just hadn't noticed her and Sam was in a different class. In my animal class we were learning about wolves. So we needed to find a territory. I found a place with a big ripped up fence around. It was not that giant but it was big enough. It had a big cave, a pond and the best hunting grounds and so we would all be protected.The next week was good, although we missed home. We hunted, slept, and played. One night, Sam was fast asleep and Mia said she was just going to take a walk. I said ok, and went back to sleep. About five minutes later, I heard Mia screaming and howling. I woke me Sam and we both ran outside the den.Those three wolves I had bitten in the woods were back and were attacking her Sam went and fout two of them to be a showoff, and the last one that was attacking Mia I jumped and pushed him out the way. I told Mia to go in the den and she went, I wrestled with the wolf and I bit him and I heard a crack and there was blood everywhere. "Did I just kill him?," I said in my mind. Mia was surprised and Sam was amazed. The other two wolves kept attacking Sam so I went and helped him. We beat them and I was the alpha. The two wolves stopped fighting and talked to me and said thank you. I was confused. Sam went to help Mia clean up. I asked them, "why did you stop fighting me?" They said that their names were Lulu and Puss and that the alpha was so mean and that they wanted me to be in their pack.

And with your Alpha and his mate. Mate what Sam said they are just boyfriend and girlfriend. AAAAAAA I screamed internally, so embarrassed. Mia said yes we are and i was happy but also nervous.now we were a pack.The next day we headed out to find and even bigger den because we had a bigger pack and Sam was my general like top wolf or Beta aside to me and mia. and i was the alpha and Mia was the alpha female i guess and the two was just the other people in the pack.It was time to hunt and Sam and one of the Puss went with him.Mia was asleep and lulu was keeping guard while i was biting a twig.Then mia came up on the rock on our new den and said to me do you want to be my boyfriend.Yes I said blushing.After a while Sam and puss came back with food and me Mia and Lulu all went over to eat.And it was an elk but it was just like deer so it was good and it tastes just like turkey except it is raw.Next day lulu and puss went out to hunt and Sam was guarding while me and mia were playing and we heard a howl from lulu and puss and it said help.Me sam and mia ran as fast as we could and found something shocking.Another pack and their alpha said that the three wolves were a part of their pack and it was 30 wolf against 5 wolves.And they were angry at lulu and puss for going with us and being against them.I told them that i was the alpha of the pack and to leave them alone.And he wanted for me to back of and that they were his pack and i said no they were in my pack now and they will stay in the pack OR ELSE I WILL ATTACK YOU AND BIT YOU NECK UNTIL YOU DIE.The pack growled because it was like a treat and mia and sam did the same.We do not want trouble i said we just need to make a bigger pack.Then go the male said go make a pack but just don't hunt in our territory ok.Deal .deal i said.After we went back to our den and heard a voice and it was a female wolf. She looked injured and it was a female and she said she was hit with a bullet from a gun by hunters.I rose up and saw a truck it was coming and it was the hunters.Sam grabbed her and lulu, puss me and mia ran too.When the hunters could not find us or the other pack they went back into the city.The wolf asked who we are and before i could talk sam bursted in.So my name is sam and i am the beta so like general wolf and that is carter and he is the alpha and that is mia the alpha female but they are not mates they are boyfriend and girlfriend and those two are lulu and puss lulu is a girl and puss is a boy and puss is lead hunter and lulu is just another hunter.Sam.Yeah Carter. shut up.Ok Ok just trying to help with her meeting our pack it is not like she is going to eat us.My name is Carter as you know and you are hurt do you have a pack. "Nah, I do not have a pack and my name is Ziri. Mia glanced over and answered. "My name is Mia, as you know. Also thanks to the Beta, for saving another wolf, our pack is growing bigger. If you want you can be in our pack and plus, we need more hunters.Lulu and Puss are good and sometimes Sam goes but we need more." She subtly looks at her stomach. And then Sam bursts in again. "Hey Mia, Carter, and me are not wolves. We are humans that got turned into dogs or wolves or a mix of them by a witch and she said she will not turn us back for a year.
