Chapter 1: The Patient

tumbling out of bed, you rub your eyes and violently hit your alarm. Groaning, you stand up and stretch your arms while yawning, grabbing your phone and a towel you play y/f/s/n (your favorite song name) while walking to the shower in an attempt to wake yourself up. Your idea being a success, you brush your teeth and get dressed ready for work. While doing so you realise that you're covering another section of the hospital; the mental hospital side. You head into your kitchen and grab your stone cold coffee from last night, plugging the toaster in and throwing some bread in it sloppily. After eating, you open the fridge and grab random snacks to throw in your bag, making a mental note to buy a sandwich at the cafeteria.

Hopping off the bus, you start walking to the front gate of the hospital, you are greeted with familiar faces and friendly smiles yet something still felt off... Shaking off the thought, you head down the hall to your assigned ward, on the door it says " Dr Y/n Shelien" written in black ink on lined paper taped to a door, clearly implying that this is your room for today when the feeling of foreboding clouding your mind. You head in and glance at the check list to see who your handling with today then a familiar name pops up.. "Jack Haul.." you mutter to yourself. "He..He.. died last year.. Well maybe its just a typo.." You say trying to calm yourself down.

*flash back*

"ah..Jack, come take a seat.."

" Yes yes thank you"

"So what brings you here"

Observing the short man infront of you, it was clear he was to small for the chair but you kept that to yourself.

"Well my eyes have been aching lately and i have been having migraines for days"

"One second.."

While typing up all this information into your computer, you find absolutely no such disease or illness that fits the description just been told to you.

" I am sorry jack I cannot find anything to diagnose you but Its probably your phone have you been on it lately"

"No I am waiting for my new phone as I broke mine"

*Present time*

After talking to a few of your patients you head out into the cafeteria and sit down with a few friends.

"Soo.. how has your day been?" Ashton says to start a conversation

"Mine was terrible"

"No one asked you Eva" Jorja exclaims as a joke

"Don't be nasty"

"That is what you always say Summer" Georgia repeats while stuffing salad into her face

Clearly you are used to it by now but you are still suprised at them.

"You never answered my question how was your day?"

"It was decent.." you say clearly lying

While your friends talk about if they where murderers who would they kill you get texted something weird.

"Who is that?" Summer says while looking over your shoulder

"oh its nothing..."

"You need to take a break off that phone of yours" Georgia exclaims while snatching your phone out off your hands "you are too attached to it so I am keeping it till the end of the day, Come into room to fetch it later no discussion"

"oK mOtHeR" You say in a bratty tone to annoy her

"pack it in y/n" Ashton replies clearly bothered by the tone of your voice

"Fine" you grunt, you throw pack into your bag then storm off

While heading back to your room you see a white creature waving at you under a tree from the corner of your eye. "What..?" you mutter under your breath confused of what you saw. Ignoring it you sit in your chair, when you heard a knock at your door. When opening it you saw a small gift with a note attached to it saying:

Roses are red

Blossoms are pink

Jack is dead

And so you might think

:)

"Wh-what?" You mutter confused of what it means and who it's off, opening the gift you scream and drop the present. Rolling out was a bloody, human eye. "Who did this and whos is it ?!?" you squeal in a high pitch voice.

"y/n he was under the tree but only you know shhhhh"

"What are you talking about and where are you!"

"You see that eye"

"ANSWER MY QUESTION!" you scream outloud clearly sounding crazy

"E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E" He says in a deep voice

"ok ok yes I see the eye"

"Well DNA test it"

Doing as told, you grab the eye and put it in your pocket then head down to the DNA room into the next ward. While walking you find Summer in tears like usual but it wasn't little tears she was in full on tears with her cousin Ashton sitting her down in a attempt to try and calm her down, but you payed no attention and carried on walking. When you finally reach the room you put the eye in the DNA tester and waited for the results.

The results finally came through but before you went to go pick it up the voice says " stay calm and don't scream it will make things worse" You brush off the thought and grab the sheet and it says:

Eye colour: Blue

Gender: Female

Doctor: Dr y/n Shelien

"Is she dead...?"

"YES"
