Roads and Fights (Part 1)

Roads are dangerous, roads can end lives. It depends on the driver, the road, the noise, the weather, the vehicle, the animals, and the people in the vehicle. You can never really understand how dangerous a road can be until you've experienced that danger.

"Kuroo, if you and Bokuto want to fight it can you wait until you're not driving." Akaashi says calmly.

"Yeah well maybe Bokuto shouldn't have broke my project. I spent 3 weeks on that, took time that I could have spent with you guys to finish it but, Bokuto gets upset with me and thinks he can just BREAK IT!" Kuroo yells

"I said I was sorry, god can't you understand that I already feel bad about it enough!" Bokuto yells back.

They've been arguing since they left the house. Tsukishima sits in the back next to Bokuto with his headphones on trying to block out the yelling while Akaashi tries to defuse the situation.

"Kuroo please just dri- KUROO WATCH OUT!!" Akaashi screams.

It all feels like it happens in slow motion. Kuroo steps on the brakes trying to stop the car before they hit the deer. Akaashi is screaming, Bokuto moves to shield Tsukishima and Tsukishima is frozen.

When they collide with the deer all you can hear is glass shattering, Akaashis screams, and the car sliding.

Kuroo's Pov:

When I open my eyes I immediately look around. I see Akaashi, then Bokuto and Tsukishima.

"Bo, 'Kaashi, Tsuki, are you guys okay!? Please tell me you're okay!"

"Kuroo, my leg is stuck, I can't move it." I hear Akaashi first.

"Okay love, give me a second I'll see if I can get out. Tsuki, Bo, are you guys okay?" I ask again.

"I think I'm okay but my seat belt is stuck. Bo you have to get up." Tsuki says.

"Bo get up p-please.." Akaashi starts to cry a bit.

"Okay guys, um, try to stay calm and look around for a phone, I think I can get out." I'm trying to stay calm as I move to get out of the car.

I kick my door open and go to Akaashi's side to open the door. Tsukishima was on the phone with emergency services.

I yank Akaashi's door open and unbuckle his seatbelt. 

"Where is your leg stuck?" I ask.

He points to his left leg which is stuck between the dashboard and seat.

"I'm going to try and move the seat back okay?" I tell him.

"O-okay." He cries.

I reach under the seat and pull the lever to move it back and Akaashi cries out a bit.

"It'll be okay love just give me a second okay." I say trying to calm Akaashi down.

"Paramedics are on the way. Kou you need to wake up please, you've got to get up." Tsukishima says desperately as tears start to run down his face.

"Kei, can you get out so I can get to Kou?" I say.

He nods and moves to get out of the car.

"Kei wait don't move!" I say the minute I see his side.

He looks down to see a piece of glass lodged into his side.

"Oh shit, I don't even feel it!" Tsuki exclaims.

"Okay well just, um, just stay still and don't move. Koutorou you need to get up please, please Kou wake up!" I almost yell

"Ku..mm" Kou mumbles.

"Kou, love, open your eyes for me okay I need you to tell me where it hurts." I say, finally hearing sirens in the distance.
