Chapter 8

~first person pov~

"It's been a month a whole month and nothing on Bucky it's like he vanished" I mumbled to myself, the light was turned on it startled me making me jump I tuned to see who it was and saw Wanda leaning on the door frame with a disappointed look on he face

"Come on Y/N it's 4am you have to sleep" she said walking over to you trying to pry u from your desk

"No Wanda you don't get it I need to find him" I said with tears running down my eyes.

She shook her head at me and pulled me from my chair "no come on you can't find him when your like this let's get u washed."

She turned on the shower for me,  and I hopped in the water was so refreshing as the hot water ran down my back. I stood there for a long time just staring at the wall thinking mostly about Bucky I was only pulled from my thoughts when I heard wandas voice.

"Y/n you have been in there a long time are you okay?" She said knocking on the door

"Ya just finishing up" I yelled quickly washing my hair. I stepped out of the shower and walked to my room where Wanda had and outfit picked out for me it was one of buckys shirts and some pj shorts, I put them on then heard the alarm go off I ran to the meeting room where on the map I saw that F.R.I.D.A.Y finally found Bucky he was in a secret hydra base in the woods, once every one came in they saw me on the computer typing away.

"What's going on" tony asked sleepily,

"We finally found Bucky" I said almost crying "and Deklin the kid I escaped with is there it should be a simple mission if he remembers me. Tony I need a favour I need u to make me my old hyrda suit so I blend in," I said not looking up from the computer,

"Ya and it'll help cuz your wings a gray not white why do they look like that?" Tony said pointed to my wings.

"Oh it's cuz I didn't wash them" I said lying though my teeth.

"Well suit up" tony said

"No this need to be a solo mission I will have a com but I have to go alone, if we get found out they will kill Bucky" I said looking at Steve to back me up

"Fine but if we think something is up we will be coming" Steve said crossing his arm, "thank you" I said and went to get ready boy it's gonna be a long day I thought to myself, once I put on my suit (the cover photo) and headed out to the hydra base, once I got there I saw deklin the kid I thought escaped with why did they keep him alive if  he escaped, when the rest were killed?  I asked myself, this might be an easy mission. I walked out of the tree line and on to the path and walked up to the building, the guards didn't bat an eye cuz I looked like I belonged there,

"Feathers is that you?!" Deklin yelled I cringed at the nick name he gave me way back when.

"Yes dek it's me." I said turning to him as he hugged me "it's good to see u again why are u still here I thought u left like me?" I asked after I broke the hug.

"Well I found myself at this base and they told me that hydra is not evil and the avengers are." He said to me I looked at him like he grew a second head, I brushed it off as more hydra brain washing.

"Hey I heard there's a new recruit here." I said turning to him

" ya but we can't go see him, they say he's unstable."

"Come one why not have some fun while I'm here what do u say for old time sake?" I asked putting my hand out for are hand shake, he took it and said "all right one last time"

He walked me to the observation room where we could watch him be brainwashed.

"I'm sorry" I said turning to him before he could say anything I stuck the needle in him and he fell unconscious, with that I turned out the lights and turned on my night vision, I broke the glass and hopped down to retrieve Bucky, I picked him up fire man carry and started trying to find a way out before I could the power came on, "Okay nows the time for back up" I say in the comms before I knew it there was a hole in the roof above me I took it as my opportunity and flew out, and in to the jet once I landed, Steve took bucky off my back and put him on the hospital bed and I sat down waiting to go home.
