Chapter 2

All you can do is stand there as the man waked to you to closer cap, he noticed the fear in your eyes and walked in front of you "nice of you to stop by Bucky" captain America said embracing the winter soldier you stood there in shock wondering why superhero superhero like Captain America would be hugging the winter soldier cap looked back at you "Are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost" you snap out of your trance managing to speak " ya I'm fine my wing just hurts" you say shaking that's when "bucky" makes eye contact with you a wave of guilt washes over his face as he stares at you " I'm going to go see if the others need help" you say backing away you "douse anyone need help" you ask over the coms "nope the fight is over you can head back to the tower" Iron man reported you open your wings and take off with everything flap your wing is in pain you reach the tower and mange to land on the balcony knocking on the window tony opens it and you walk in "hows your wing" tony asked "oh it's ok it'll heal I just need to stay off of it" you reply "well meet the team this is Steve, and Natasha, Clint, Bruce, and Bucky" he said everyone except Bucky smiled and waved you sat down on the couch be side Steve and asked if you can talk to him privately he said yes and stood up you to walked down the hall out of view you looked at him "why is the winter soldier here" you ask petrified "who Bucky I guess he was the winter soldier he's reformed now of us" he replied "Okay" you say walking out and left it at that "so how did you get your wings" tony asked with curiosity " it's a long story" you reply "we have all day" he said "well I was born with them but they have been a burden, my mother died when I was born and my dad died a year prior to my birth, no orphanage wanted me so I was sent to scientists to study me years of being poked a prodded at I was kidnaped by HYDRA, when I was 10 they used me as a weapon they trained me how to fight and use my wings to my advantage when I was good I got food when I was bad I was punished" you say shivering at the memory. "At age 16 I had enough me and 20 other kids planed an escape, only 2 made it out me and this other boy I think his name was Deklin, we planed to meet up in the near by woods so we did, after an hour we assumed the worst and went on are own paths, year later when I went back to the base I found it abandoned, I went thought it and I found out the kids that caught caught where killed by HYDRA's super soldier." Bucky shudders at you words, "I went though the names of the kids that were killed that day hoping to see my friend made it out, but Chole was killed ever since then I've wanted to help people, people like me who had powers or a freaky flaw and make them feel less alone, I always looked up to you guys and one day thought you would save me I was a little kid back then" you say as a tear rolls down you cheek " that was brutal I'm sorry we didn't help" tony says "it's ok the base was hidden deep in the woods it took me forever to find it again" you say in a confident tone "what's your name by the way" Steve said "oh I'm y/n y/l/n"
