Just like the other evening, the sky was clear, sprouting with stars and the cold breeze were too audible enough to make her shivers, yet couldn't care less as she stood infront of the railings of the rooftop.
Sighing down as the scene on her dream suddenly entered her head, Y/n slowly tiptoed her feet as she tried looking down the building.
As expected, she felt a fear spinning on the pit of her stomach as soon as her eyes darted on the lower ground.
Minhee on the other side walked happily towards the white spacious hallways of the apartment building towards Y/n's apartment after knowing she already exited the hospital.
Arriving infront of her doorstep, Minhee didn't hesitate a bit before ringing the doorbell. He shortly anticipated for someone open the door until someone did. But not Y/n, it was Jian.
"Minhee?" she questioned, examining the boy from head to toe before looking up to ask more. "What brings you here?" she asked, knitting her brows.
"I was wondering if Y/n is here," he cleared out, saying as Jian immediately nodded her head.
"She's in the rooftop," she responded shortly. "I think she want some space after Sunghoon's departure last morning" she pursed her lips as Minhee went confused.
"Sunghoon? Where did he go?" he asked.
"He just arrived in Canada like and hour ago," Jian said. "Y/n usually come at the rooftop everytime she need a little bit of spaceㅡ"
A sudden deja vu hit him as he began ranning, not even letting the older finish her words before sprinting towards the stares that leads to the apartment's building rooftop.
"Huh? Why are young adults acting too weird this days?" Jian who was left alone asked herself, clueless about everything before sighing down and entered her apartment once again.
"Do it," "if you will.... You'll never get to see me again,"
Those words replay on her mind once again as she started to get more curious. "Who was that guy?" she cursed mentally before tiptoeing her feet once again to take a look on the lower concrete ground.
'That dream,' she could only talk with herself inside her head as she tried figuring out something from that blurry vision. She wasn't sure if it was real or some kind of flashback or maybe that was her brain telling her she should dream something like that.
But one thing was clear, 'It felt so real,' she mentally told herself. The last thing she remembered was her, standing on the edge of the building's concrete railings.
Not just that but the way she felt about it was like feeling freedom. She didn't felt fear, however she's feeling it now as she curiously took a step to climb the railings.
She didn't know what's inside her head, dying wasn't even on her plan. The only thing inside her head was curiosity of how would it feel like to be standing on the same thing with a different situation.
As soon as she pulled herself completely above the concrete, Y/n gulped upon feeling uneasy before feeling her head stinging with an unknown pain.
"I still don't understand why people like you live,"
Unknowingly, a drop of tear rans through her cheeks as an unknown feeling hit her after those words crosses her faint memories.
She felt her head started to spin for a second as she turn around to face the rest space of the rooftop while her vision gets more blurry.
Soon, she felt her feet starting to lose it's life as her body slowly gave in upon the space of thin air on her back. Slowly drifting herself to fallㅡ once again, like before.
She was already losing hope of picking uo herself untilㅡ she felt someone's hand grabbing her wrist, pulling her towards the person's warmth before finding herself upon someone's embrace, cheeks warmly resting against the latter's chest as she breathed out.
"I saved you,"
The voice unconsciously spoked. Knowing that it was Minhee Y/n felt herself giving in as she immediately wrapped her arms around his waist, silently letting those tears out as she partly felt thankful about him existing.
On the other side, Minhee felt a shower of relief as he breathed out. Soon, his hands found it's way behind her head as other one began wrapping around her back, trying to give her the comfort she needs.
Deep inside, he was indeed happy. He didn't save her before instead he made her life miserable, but nowㅡ he felt like he was holding the whole universe just by having her inside his tight embrace.
He couldn't even explain the way he felt but one thing was clear on his thoughtsㅡ
He's already falling inside the trap he made two years ago.
And he can't deny it for any longer.
"Are you okay?" he asked, breathlessly as he parted a bit off Y/n, cupping her cheeks while stroking off some of her hair that was messing her face, tucking them behind her ear.
Her nose were already red as her eyes were puffy, instead of worrying too much, Minhee found himself smiling at the adorable sight. "You look cute," he commented.
Y/n only frowned before hugging him once again, not wanting to tell jokes as she heard the latter giggles as he hugged her back, giving her the comfort she needs.
"It's okay," Minhee muttured. "You're safe now," he added, smiling.
Safe, was the word that lingered on her ear but doesn't seem to understand herself of why was she tearing up after hearing him say it.
It felt new for some reason.
