Teacher's Pet (A Brendon Urie Fanfiction)

Chapter 14

He stood there looking at me for a couple of seconds as if processing what I just said. I watched a wave of emotions wash over his face before he let me go turning away from me groaning. 

"Elizabeth you are so difficult to read! The hell do you want? First, you don't want me doing anything, so I back off. Now you are coming onto me wanting me to do something? Make up your fucking mind!" he says running a hand through his hair, frustrated. 

I listen thinking. He has a point. This really must overall be confusing for him. 

"Plus aren't you dating that Noah kid? Shouldn't you be prowling around like usual trying to get his attention?" he looks over at me crossing his arms. 

I glare at him getting closer to him "No we are not dating. He's taking me out on a date tonight. Plus I've only been parading around with him to try and make you jea-" and with that, we both heard footsteps headed for the door and I moved away from him quickly.

There is a small knock on the doorway before the woman walks in, her smile lighting up the room like it usually does. 

Ms.Orzechowski

She smiles looking at us "Oh I'm sorry am I interrupting something? I can come back once you both are done talking." 

I watch Brendon as his gaze lands on her, his posture and features going a bit softer, something I am not used to seeing at all, as a smile grows onto his face. "No not at al hun we were just finishing up talking here about one of Elizabeth's assignments. She's about to leave now." He explains then returning his gaze to me. 

I can't help but feel a bit hurt by this. Am I hurting or is it jealousy? God knows if I know. 

I nod and go back over to my desk grabbing my things and setting them into my bag before I head over to the door. That's when I heard Brendon mutter something. 

"Would you like to come on a date to the movies with me babe?" 

At first, I froze. Babe? I guess maybe they are a thing. But then realization hit.

He's going because I'm going tonight. 

I looked back at him quickly glaring as I walked out the door, noticing a small smirk on his face as he's holding Ms.O's hand. 

He has something going on in his head. What it is I have no idea. 

Noah and I have just arrived at the cinema together and are walking in, hand in hand. I can't help but constantly look over my shoulder making sure that it is just him and I. After today all I've been thinking about is Brendon showing up.  I didn't see his vehicle in the car park, so hopefully, he is not here and hopefully will not be coming. 

I walked over to the ticket booth area and waited in line. 

"Anything specific you want to see?" Noah leans over slightly to ask me. I look at him then at the 'Now Showing' list of movies they currently had playing. Nothing really seemed to pique my interest, to be honest. 

"You pick I'm not sure what I'm in the mood for." I shrug and he nods smiling as we move forward in line. 

As Noah was speaking to the cashier I couldn't help but look around at my surroundings, looking at all the movie posters, people getting snacks, just generally enjoying the environment I was in. 

Until I looked over at the front door and saw him walk in, his arm wrapped around and resting on Ms.O's waist. I couldn't help but keep my eyes on him as he walked over.

He looked handsome. Wasn't really used to seeing him not in at least a professional-looking outfit. He was wearing a plain white v-neck with a leather jacket with black jeans and a pair of combat boots on. We finally made eye contact and I watched as a small smile appeared on his face as he walked over with her. I immediately pull Noah's arm gently to get his attention. 

"Hey, I'm going to go get snacks quick while you get the tickets okay?"  I explained and he nodded I walked away quickly heading up the stairs to the second floor where the theatre and snack bars were located, not giving Brendon a second look. But honestly, he looked fucking hot. I stood in line looking at the menu when a voice scared me out of my thoughts. 

"Everything just sounds so good to get don't you think?"

Brendon said looking over at me once he finished his sentence. I sighed rolling my eyes as I look back forward. 

"Don't you think it's a little weird for you to follow one of your students while she's on a date?" 

He chuckled "Elizabeth I'm on a date of my own yknow. You just so happen to be at the same place with whatever his name is." and I rolled my eyes. "That's why you are up here with me instead of with your date?" 

He once again chuckled at this "I'm up here for the same reason you are doll and that's to get snacks. Sarah is grabbing our tickets as well." 

I move forward in line trying to ignore him and his pet names for me as best as I can. I ended up just getting a large order of popcorn for Noah and me to share with a bottle of water up until, of course, Brendon had to step in. 

"Make that 2 please?" he said before stepping in front of me getting his wallet out. I make a face and grab his arm pulling him back slightly "What do you think you are doing?" I say slightly agitated. He smiled handing money to the cashier before looking at me 

"It wouldn't be very proper of me to not buy the refreshments while on a date now would it?"

I blush at this, hear my name being called, and turn around to see Noah at the top of the steps with whom other than Ms.O.  I guess I'm better off calling her Sarah at this point. They both walk over and Noah smiles sweetly at me "Hey. I got the tickets sorry it took me a bit. Ms.Orzechowski just so turns out to be here as well and I got caught up talking with her about class."

I smile and nod slightly "It's alright. Mr.Urie is here as well. I assume you are both on a date as well. We should probably be off to our movie since it's starting soon." 

I grab our order of popcorn handing it to Noah and sigh at the sentence that comes out of Sarah's mouth. 

"It's okay we still have a couple of minutes. We all are going to the same movie anyway. Brendon here or well Mr.Urie suggested we just go see whatever you both were seeing." 

Of fucking course he did.
