"Ow" I yelled when I hit my head on the car window."What the hell!"
"Sorry honey a deer ran out in front of us" my aunt informs me.
I grunt and look out the window to see the moonlight covering everything. Well the only thing out there was grass fields. This sucks, my life sucks. First my parents died in a car crash and then I have to move like 8 billion miles away to some town in Oklahoma. I moved from California, I loved that place. Party all night, sleep all day was motto. Well at least I still had my smoking hot girlfriend; Julie.
"How much longer?" I groaned and tried to get comfortable again.
"Only about ten minutes dear" I had only just met my aunt yesterday, but I liked her from the start. She was in her early forties, with gray/blond hair, and deep blue eyes. she was beautiful, but my uncle was a different story. He is grumpy, bald, and has plain gray eyes. He was not my favorite.
I looked out the back window to see the trailer with all my stuff in it. It wasn't all just mine, most of it was my parents.
I started to tear up, but blinked back the tears. I was not going to cry in front of people I had only just met. Even if they are family.
Sooner or later we pulled into a long winding drive. Evergreens shielded both sides of the drive. It was beautiful, but creepy at the same time.
I was still staring in awe when my uncle parked the car. I grabbed my bag and got out.
The house was a medium sized log cabin that looked as non interesting as it gets.
"We'll unpack your things tomorrow because it's late" my uncle said in a deep, gruff voice.
I sighed "ok"
The house was bigger on the inside, but still small. I looked around at the light green carpet with an intricate pattern, and brown wooden walls, and there was glass dishes everywhere.
"Your rooms upstairs in the attic"
"Thanks aunt Sophie"
"No problem kido"
I trudged upstairs, and opened the door. I immediately loved this room. it had green carpet like the rest of the house, and the same wooden walls, but... It had three widows. one close to the door that overlooked the barn, another was in what looked like a study, and the last one was favorite. It was a big window at the end of the room, it had a bench connected to it, and if you opened you could get out on the roof. Even if I didn't like the house, I could get used to my bedroom.
The study was indented about eight feet into the wall, with no door, how weird.
I placed my stuff on the bed and I heard a small meow.
I start to look around and see a small gray/blue kitten strutting towards me.
It rubbed up against my legs and purred. Oh I just remembered... I hate cats.
I picked it up and set it outside my door. I looked down at my shirt "Ugh! the damn cat didn't even touch me!" I was covered in cat hair!
I took off my now hairy shirt and stuffed it into my bag. I grabbed a pair of sweat pants, my tooth brush, and my tooth paste.
I turned around and stopped short... I didn't know there was a mirror there.
My jet black hair was slightly ruffled, and it complimented my emerald eyes. Or the other way around??
Julie (My girlfriend) told me something like that before and then we started making out.
I can't wait till she visits in three days, I miss her already... or I miss her lips?
I shake my head as I walk to the shower. The shower will help me clear my thoughts.
...
