Chapter 11- The Feels

D⃟a⃟k⃟o⃟t⃟a⃟'s⃟ p⃟a⃟r⃟t⃟

"He's so s-stupid" I sobbed into James' shirt. He rubbed my back and held me tight.

"Koda stress isn't good for the baby" I took a deep breath and nodded into his chest.

"Let's go eat then lay down" I nodded again and he picked me up bridal style. I wrapped my arms around his neck and closed my eyes. I heard him open my door and shut it.

"I'm ok" I told him and hopped out of his arms and sat down at my small table. James sat across from me and started to take food out of the basket.

"Omg you got whales!" I immediately perked up at the sight of my favorite snack food.

"Oh yes" he chuckled "just for you my dear" I laughed as he handed them over. I quickly snatched and opened them. I only grabbed a few because I didn't want to ruin the rest of my lunch.

"And for the main course" he reached into the basket "peanut butter and jelly" I chuckled softly.

"Thank you James" I looked him straight in the eyes "it means a lot" he smiled

"Anything for you" an emotion flashed across his face but before I could tell what it was, it was gone.

"Let's eat" he gestured towards the food. I nodded and dug into my sandwich. I looked over at James to see him smirking at me. My face went red with embarrassment and I looked away. He just chuckled and pushed a plum in my direction.

"I love plums" I said with my mouth full. James let out a deep throated laugh and shook his head.

"I know that, that's why I brought them" my cheeks once again flushed red with embarrassment. We ate in silence until we were both super stuffed.

"I ate too much" I groaned and laid back in the old wooden chair.

"Me too" he said patting his stomach. I giggled and he stood up.

"Well I should really get home" he started to pack stuff up in the basket. I stood up and walked over to him.

"Please stay with me tonight" I pleaded him with my eyes because I was in no state to stay alone.

"Of course" he hugged me and kissed my head.

"Thank you" I hugged him tight and let go to go change. I walked over to the dresser and pulled out a sport bra and some shorts.

"Do you care if I change?" I looked over at James who was cleaning up lunch/dinner.

"No go ahead it's your shack" he turned and went back to cleaning up. I pulled my shirt off and unhooked my bra. I slipped on my sports bra then took my pants off and quickly replaced them with my shorts. I turn around to see James staring at me. I blushed and he walked over to me.

"Your so beautiful" he cupped my face in his hands. Suddenly I wanted him to kiss but at the same time I didn't, I blame my hormones.

He leaned down slowly and I didn't try to stop him. His lips brushed mine and then he kissed me. I didn't respond at first but then my lips started moving in sync with his. His lips were soft and I liked the feel of them against mine but it wasn't any thing like kissing Dylan. I pulled away and put my hands on his chest, he leaned his head against mine.

"I can't do this James, not until I know for sure that he doesn't want me" he nodded.

"I understand" he pulled away and took his shirt and pants off.

"Do you care if I sleep in my boxers?" I shook my head no and he walked over to me and picked me up. He laid me down on the bed then slid in next to me. I scooted up to make room for him, then snuggled into him.

"Goodnight" I whispered and felt his arm go around me.

"Goodnight Koda" I smiled and closed my eyes.
