Tony was in his lab working on a new Iron man suit, while everyone else was in the common area, including the very shy and antisocial (y/n). The young Avenger stood up walking towards the elevator, "Where are you going, (y/n)?" Natasha asked drawing a few of the Avengers' attention towards the fleeting male. 

"Oh, um well I was gonna check on Tony, he's been down there all day" the (h/c) male spoke softly, looking away from the stares. He quickly turned away rushing into the elevator hating that he was put on the spot for a little bit. He pressed the button to Tony's lab, he leaned against the wall as he waited till he got to the designated floor.

Once the male got to the lab he knocked on the door before opening it hoping not to startle the genius. "T-Tony? Have you eaten anything?" the shy male asked, to be honest (y/n) had a crush on the older male which is why he was shyer around the male than the other Avengers. Tony didn't say anything but he motioned to his mug of coffee. "But that's not food" (y/n) mumbled slowly moving towards Tony, the younger male grabbed a chair moving to sit close to the older male. 

"Do you need something, kid?" Tony asked using the nickname he gave (y/n) even though he was only 4 years older. He placed the tools he was using down before turning to face the other male. Tony didn't mind the younger male, he actually liked his company. (y/n) usually either helped, make suggestions or just stayed out of the way.

"Oh um... I don't... um I just was bored, that's all I guess." the small male stammered a bit shifting around on his chair. 

Tony turned away smiling that the male, "... cute" he mumbled to himself, "I'm working on a new suit wanna help me out kiddo?" he asked, pulling (y/n) closer to him showing the male his plans. 

~Tony's POV~
I thought it was cute whenever (y/n) stuttered around me but I sometimes felt like I did something wrong to make him act like this around me, don't get me wrong I like (y/n) and maybe one day we could even be more than friends but as of now, I was happy to have his presents. 

"What do you think about this (y/n)?" I asked looking over at him, he looked at the idea I had before going onto explain something about it, I wasn't really paying attention, I was mainly focused on the sparkles in his eyes.

Without even realizing it, I had moved in closer to (y/n) moving a strand of wild hair off his face. "T-Tony? W-what are you... Um?" (y/n) asked blushing. I smiled seeing the blush on his face, I turned him towards me, moving us closer together so our legs were tangled together. His blush got darker as his eyes shifted around like he didn't know where to look.

"You're really cute when you blush kid..." I spoke, placing my hands on his burning cheeks so he would look at me. "I... I really like you... (y/n), I really wanna be more than... than whatever we are now." I spoke softly placing my forehead against his. I had closed my eyes letting the other choose where this went.

"I...I... I um... I re... I.." he stammered, I was about to pull away thinking he was going to reject me but instead he crashed his (rough/soft) lips against mine.
