It was late, the owls were loud. The moon was big and bright, but that wasn't the only thing Vincent was staring at. There were many stars up in the sky, he stares at them in awe.
Vincent sat on his bed, staring out of his window. He opens the window and leans out slightly, getting a closer view at the stars. It felt like the stars were getting closer to him, he reaches his hands high up.
'So close but yet so far, one day I want to touch them. Just not when I'm dying,' He thought before dropping his hand low. 'Would it be a dumb idea to ask Misora to take me?'
Vincent shook his head, 'Yeah, no way. Can't die again.'
A loud creek was at the door, Vincent head moved towards the door. His head moved fast which made his glasses moved. A small light was floating by the door, Vincent moves away from the window.
"Who's there?" He said out loud, "It's just me," a quiet voice says. Misora head peeks out the door, she has a bright smile. Vincent eyes brightens, "Sorry for coming so late, I couldn't sleep."
She walks in, closing the door gently. She held a candle, then gently blew it out. She placed it next on top of a desk. "Oh, that's fine. I couldn't sleep either." Vincent said back to her, Misora sat on his bed.
"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" She rests her arms on the window, staring at the bright moon. Vincent nods and stares at the moon as well. "It is, but I prefer the stars." Vincent said, looking at Misora.
He noticed her eyebrows became lower and was pulled in closer together. Her lips were in a drawn pouting outwards. She nods slowly, "Oh,"
Vincent locks eyes with her, "Did I say something wrong?"
Misora shook her head, "No, not at all."
Vincent mouth may part, showing his bright teeth. "I want to see the stars up close one day, not like the time I met you. No, that sounded wrong. I'm happy I met you, I just, wanna see the stars closer." Vincent says, reaching his hand out at the sky.
Misora raises her night gown, she placed her foot on the window step. She held the wall for support so she wouldn't fall. Vincent watches Misora stretch her arms out.
"Stand by me," She says, not facing him. Vincent stares at her, he didn't trust this. What if he falls? But he did trust Misora. He steps on the window, he was holding the wall for dear life. He never wanted to let go.
Misora takes a step out of the window, she was floating in front of Vincent. She reaches her hand out to him, Vincent stares at the girl.
The wind blew her black hair, her beauty made a Vincent held his breathe. He slowly reaches out for Misora hand, so close but her so far. Their fingertips touched, "Come closer," Misora says.
"What if, I fall?" Vincent says, pulling back. "I'll catch you." Vincent closes his eyes, taking in a deep breath. He opens his eyes again, revealing his brown eyes.
He reached out for Misora's hand again, but this time he took a step, his hand leaving the wall slowly. His hands touched Misora. He held tightly to her hand.
Vincent lets go of the wall, and took his other feet off the window. He waited to fall. Instead he was floating besides Misora.
"W-what, how?" Vincent asked Misora, he stares at the smiling girl. "Powers," she cheers, "I used the air to carry your feet, come on now."
Misora flies up to sky, this time they were more farther from the ground and closer to the clouds. Vincent lets go of Misora hand, "Wow," He lost his balance, he almost fell backwards but Misora held his hand. She laughs at him, "I-I think I prefer you to hold me." Vincent says.
Vincent held her hand tightly. He smiles at the stars, "You know, I read this book before I came here. They said that we have stardust soul. I didn't believe it, but ever since I met you. I realized that I have," Vincent says, staring at the stars. Then turns his head over at Misora.
"Do you know why I prefer the stars over the moon?"
Misora eyes locks with his eyes, "mhm?"
"When you saved me, I couldn't see very well. You looked like a star, the brightest star I have ever saw. At first, I thought I was in heaven." He chuckles a little.
"Thank you, it means a lot." Misora said, her night gown was flowing beautifully with the cold wind. "I always wanted to be a star, it sounds dumb I know!" Misora laughs and Vincent shook his head, laughing a little. "Why is that?"
"Because people stare at you, adore you for your beauty." Misora says, "But, don't they already do?"
Misora shook her head, "No, it's not the same when you look at me." Vincent moves slightly closer to Misora.
His shoulder bumps into Misora, she grins a little as you looks down. "Do you know what stardust soul mean?" Vincent says, she looks up at him, shaking her head side to side.
"Romantic, romance." He replies back to her, Misora cheeks turned red, "Romance?" She says back, he nods. "I know what, the moon is beautiful means."
Vincent faces her, "I really do like you, the past couples of days went by fast, but to me it felt like years." He grabs both of Misora hands, "I like you, like, like you."
As Misora stares at his face, she saw how his face turned red in seconds. Vincent and Misora stares at each other, "I understand you don't like me, I hope this doesn't ruin-"
Vincent whole body tingled, his back shoulder tense up. For some reason to Vincent, it felt like a dream. The world had stopped, it was frozen. His lips were locked in with Misora's lips. He closes his eyes, falling in with the kiss. Her soft fingers held Vincent face. He held her waist, pulling her in. Their body pressing against each other.
They both pulled away due to lack of oxygen, Vincent took a warm breathe in, he smelt Misora perfume, just like velvet petals.
Misora presses her forehead against his, their nose touching. Misora wraps her arms around his neck, "I like you as well, also." She says, Vincent waits for her. "You smell like vanilla hint with new books."
Vincent chuckles a little, "I was in the library all day."
Misora leans in and kisses him, passionately. Vincent felt her smile in the kiss, he grinned back.
Moments later, they flew back to Misora's mansion. They filled Vincent's room with soft chuckles and giggles. "I had fun, thanks for showing me the stars." Vincent told her, still holding her hands.
Misora looks at their hands, her lips were sore from smiling so much tonight. "Of course, anything for you."
Misora pulls her hands away from his, "I should get back to my room." Misora then grabs the candle she brought in before. "Strange," she says staring at the lit candle.
"I could've sworn I blew it out," She added, staring at the candle weirdly. "It's probably nothing, don't think to much of it." Vincent says also staring at it.
Misora stomach started to curl up itself, she had a bad feeling. She couldn't think of it though, maybe Vincent was right. Misora shakes off the evil thoughts and heads to her room.
Before she left Vincent room, she waved goodbye and said.
"Night love,"
