It was the first day of my sophomore year at lovely acres high, i absolutely hated it here. It was so boring and the classes were all so easy. I walked up to the front doors and saw all my schoolmates screaming and hugging eachother. I rolled my eyes as i tried to push past the swarm of kids all gathered around katie.
Katie was the most popular girl in school and everyone loved her, she was a tall slender blonde girl with the most beautiful blue eyes. Everyone either wanted to be with her, be friends with her or be her. everyone loves katie.., everyone except me.
I walked the halls to where my first class was: math, “I love math” i thought to myself with a smile. I walked into the classroom and saw there was a seating chart up on the wall. I sat down in my assigned seat and the looked to see who was supposed to sit by me. I looked up at the bored and realized katie was in my class and sitting right behind me.
We never specifically had any conflicts except for one time in the 8th grade when one of her dumb friends was making fun of me so i punched her in the face, ever since that all the popular kids just stay away from me.
Katie walks into the class and sits down behind me, she smelled of daisies which for whatever reason made me get butterflies in my stomach. “What the fuck!” i thought to myself.
Class finally started and we all got up out of our seats when the teacher walked in. “you may take your seats children, im Mrs. Albany ill be your grade 10 math teacher” she began to tell the rules of the class and explained what we would be learning this year when my phone buzzed. I looked down and saw it was from an unknown number.
Unknown: is this eva?
Me: uh yeah..?
Unknown: Hey spaz its me katie!
Me: oh, hi, howd you get my number?
Katie: ugh why does it matter loll
Me: i was just curious.
Katie: anyway if we have any projects do u wanna be partnersssss
Me: uh sure, why though?
Katie: because youre like a super nerd and i want to learn how to do meth
Katie: omg hahaha i meant math! Im not a druggie lmao
Me: lol okay then
Great now im partners with the dumbest girl ever. Shes probably gonna make me do all the work. Whyd i say yes when she asked to be partners? For some reason when it came to katie i couldnt think clearly...
