WHEN she arrived at her 'home', she wasn't surprised to see that no one, not her mother or siblings nor father came to greet her. Instead, she was grabbed by the family's guards and placed straight into her room, the doors locking behind her so she couldn't leave.

Her room was luxurious, with a big bed, big cabinets, expensive counters, and blankets. Despite not being wanted by everyone they wouldn't dare let the young women bring shame to the family. So they gave her the best of the best, dropped her shoulders with jewelry that only ones could wish for, food was on the table to make sure she was healthy. She was given everything but happy life, a happy family, and a happy future.

(Y/N) walked over towards her bed, letting herself fall. The bed was clean, soft as ever, anyone could fall happily asleep without a worry if they weren't in such a predicament. If anything, the bed could absorb worries but that was the thing with (Y/N), she couldn't sleep knowing the people that walked in these halls could enter and stab her, but would they dare?

She remembered clearly why they were so hesitant about killing her, because the man who was sent to kill her, the sorcerer killer, quit the job.

That night, those green eyes of his could have made her younger self tremble to death, as well as the cursed spirit on his shoulder. But what stuck with her was the scar on his lip. It was a small scar, it really was, but it pulled off his whole look of being someone not to mess with.

The door opened, the thoughts of the sorcerer killer disappeared and her attention turned towards Fuji Armia, a cocky smirk on his lips as he entered her room with a cigarette between his fingers. Black hair like an obsidian crystal and blue eyes like clear ocean water, he was considered handsome in the Armia clan, but his looks could only get him so far, "if it isn't my little sister," he said cockily, letting a Gray smoke escape his mouth and infiltrate her room, "it's been a long time since I last saw you, three or four years right?"

(Y/N) didn't say anything but stare, if one thing she knew about her brother Fuji, was that you need to be wary around the man. He was a ticking bomb, if he felt like he needed to hurt you, he did it. If he felt like you were worthless, you were thrown away like a piece of a cigarette. The man was horrible, someone (Y/N) couldn't stand, but she wasn't like him, she didn't have her father's favors. If she was to hurt a precious hair on his head, she'd be thrown somewhere she fought to never go to.

"You're not gonna speak?"

The hair on her neck stood on the look on his face, he looked crazed, ready to hurt her, "you have no manners you little bitch," he muttered, taking long strides over to (Y/N), "that sorcerer changed you huh?"

With a strong grip, her face was pulled towards Fuji, her hands nearly grabbed his own to pull him off but the thought of the punishment came to her head, so she let her hands fall to her side, "maybe I should teach you some fucking manners," he mumbled, his crazed blue eyes staring into (Y/N) own, "when someone greets you, you greet them back! Got that?!"

(Y/N) didn't say anything but look away towards the mirror on the wall. They say the eyes are the window to someone's soul so why did her eyes look so sad? There were no tears, no anger, just complete surrendering sadness.

Fuji grabbed her cheeks harder from before, "I said when someone greets you, you greet them back didn't I?"

Releasing a heavy sigh, (Y/N) spoke, "hello older brother," her attention drifted away from the mirror and down towards her bed. Fuji seemed satisfied with her words and actions and let go of her cheeks, fixing his shirt, and made way to the door.

"Remember where you stand (Y/N)."

"I know older brother," was her response, (Y/N) fingers dug into the palm of hands once the door closed, the familiar pain surged all over her body, reminding her where she was and how she got here.

It felt like she was six years old again, alone within these horrid walls. If they could talk, they would have talked so much shit about the Armia family. (Y/N) raised a hand and grabbed the mushroom pin from her school uniform, she stared at it with tears eyes but not once did those tears ever dropped.

Her hand reached into her pocket, pulling out a mushroom pin given to her by Gojou, she stared at it with a smile and took a deep breath, everything will be okay. liar.

'GET OFF ME!' Those were the words (Y/N) wanted to scream at her mother who was pulling her by the hair and towards the large attic. She wanted to use all her strength to push her down the luxurious stairs that she stayed clear of when younger. She wanted to grab the family painting that hid all of her family's imperfections.

There were a lot of things (Y/N) wanted to do, but had little time and no power.

"Open the attic!" Amara, (Y/N) mother demanded the family guard who simply nodded and followed her request, and began to open the iron doors.

"I truly wish that your brother had gotten all of those curse techniques instead of you," Amara said, her eyes blazing with crazed anger, "what a hell waste of talent."

And like always, (Y/N) had said nothing. What was she supposed to say? In a situation like this, all was left to do was to stay quiet and hope the pain, the hateful words, and bruises would go away like butterflies after their birth.

The metal doors were open and Amara walked down the hallway, pulling her daughter's head tighter into the haunted hallway, anyone who entered could feel the ominous presence in here, the type that could give one nightmare at one glance. Amara opened the old wooden door the threw her daughter, watching her roll onto the dusty floor, "I don't want to see your face for a week, you insufficient child!" And behind Amara, the door slammed.

(Y/N) sat in the cold dark old attic, massaging the scalp where her mother roughly grabbed her hair, doing her best to soothe the pain, "everything is gonna get better, everything is gonna get better."

"Everything is gonna be fine, everything is gonna be fine. Everything is gonna be fine."

The tears had stopped immediately at the sound of a new voice and the hand on her cheek that felt more like dry ice, "I'm here," the ghostly woman said.
