«Where do we have to go?» Asma asked Nikki as the two of them got out of the airport.
«I don't know, Asma. If I did, we wouldn't be stuck still here.»
«Chill girl.»
«You need Jesus.»
They laughed and got a taxi to their house. It was almost 1pm when they arrived.
«AYOOOOO» screamed Nikki when they entered the house.
«HEEEEEEY» they heard as reply. Then she heard quick steps and then Cristina looking out from the stairs.
«Oh my, that's the depressed pizza girl!» said Asma making everyone laugh. That's how they sometimes called her on the group, because of a misunderstanding of her name and Italian pizza stereotypes.
They went upstairs and the newbies choose their rooms. «Where is everyone else?» asked Asma sitting on her bed.
«They went to search for Maheen, she actually disappeared and we are all clueless.» answered Cristina that was right in front of her half hugging Logan.
They heard a phone ringing and Cristina grabbed hers. «Hello?» she said taking a couple steps . «No way, Mol... Yea, so what do we do? ...Ok, see you there then.» then she hung up. «Mollie said she left Nash's house five minutes before they arrived. Someone give Maheen a call to see if she answers while I go pee.» she put her phone back in her pocket and got out of the room. «And we're going out to lunch in half an hour.»
Logan was left awkwardly on the door and Nikki grabbed her phone. «Oi Maheen, where the damn are you? ...Yeah, you got us all worried ... So yeah, we're going out to lunch in half an hour, are you going to be there? ...Oh, okay. Bye then bae»
«What did she say?» asked Asma.
«She might have other plans for the day, even if she said she'd really like to be with us.» Nikki answered.
«What kind of plans?»
«She's going out with someone, she didn't want to tell me who.»
«Okay...» she ended.
She looked at Logan and felt a little bad for the embarrassing moment. She didn't talk much with him, he usually talked to the old magcons. Cristina used to talk a lot with him and other friends of Logan's, Asma thought that maybe she liked talking to older people (because all the others were their age) because she wanted a group of friends to feel her age and another group to feel mature but still have fun. But Asma didn't mind having an only group, because as long as she kept talking to Matthew, his best friend, she would've felt okay.
Cristina entering the room cut off her thoughts and they all went in Logan's car to get to the restaurant with the others. Asma and Nikki took the backseats and it would've felt awkward again if Cristina wasn't talking to Logan.
Asma got a text a few minutes later they were driving. It was from Nikki, so she gave her a bad look to ask why she would send her a text instead of talking.
Then she opened the text.
"Notice Logan's hand on Cristi's leg 😏"
She hardly contained a laughter and texted Nikki back.
"They should get a room😏😂"
They got off the car and entered this restaurant. Cristina told something to Logan with a soft voice and he replied her, while Asma and Nikki couldn't understand what they were saying. They found the table with Mollie, Jake and Melanie and they sat.
«Why is there more seats left?» asked Asma. «I thought Maheen wasn't coming.»
«Yeah, but we invited a couple of persons.» said Mollie winking at Asma.
She curiously raised her eyebrows. «Who?»
Mollie was about to answer when Jake said: «Oh, here they are.»
Asma turned her head and the first person she saw was Matthew and then Nash, Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky. She mentally fangirled and went speechless while she focused only on his eyes looking hers and his smile, so she stood up and hugged him. «Hi darling,» he said calling her as he usually did.
All she could do was smiling and so they all sat.

For all that time, Asma focused only on Matthew. She was so happy she met him, because she had really strong feelings for him and, even if she couldn't tell him, she was so happy she could stay with him and not type to him on a screen.
About her feeling something for him, she was about to feel sick at that moment, because Mollie and Jake were almost behaving like a couple, always smiling to each other and holding hands. And so were Logan and Cristina. Logan just said something that made Cristina laugh and she blushed, looked into his eyes and replied something that no one other than him heard then he sweetly smiled at her and they kept talking with everyone else. Nikki and Melanie, instead, seemed to enjoy the single life. They were having so much fun talking with Nash and the Jacks. And then there were Matt and Asma. Asma and Matt.
They weren't really behaving like a couple but,sadly, as best friends.

They finished eating since a couple minutes and everyone was talking so they hardly noticed when Cristina stood up and walked away to answer her phone. When she came back to the table, she put on a fake smile and anyone could barely hear Logan (that noticed she was upset) and her talking.
«Guys, we're leaving because Cristi doesn't feel well and I'll get her home.» said Logan.
