My name is Avery, I grew up in a big house with both my mom and dad, I'm lucky right?
I guess you would say that, but both my parents are homophobic and well....im not straight. I'm not the perfect daughter they hoped for, they don't know and I will never tell them as long as i'm under their roof.

I groan as I hear my alarm clock signalling that it is indeed a new day, I roll over and lift the covers off myself. Thinking about a cup of coffee helps me get through my morning routine, and in no time I am bounding down the stairs in a pair of mom jeans and my favourite blue sweater and vans. I gather my long brunette hair to tie it in a pony tale, but on second thought I leave it down. Its chilly today anyway. Making that cup of coffee I promised myself, I think about the day ahead. Another day at the hellhole called high school, another day of being not myself. Well at least I have my wonderful parents to wish me a good day I think, and look around at the empty kitchen. I finish my coffee setting it down and grab my backpack and cell phone off the counter.
Hopefully the day will be over before I know it I think, knowing it won't
