Her Prince

Chapter 4

Today, after 2 and a half years, I am finally going home. I was sad that I was leaving Vancouver but excited to return home. 

My bags were packed and, getting put into the car while I was saying my goodbyes. 

" Aunt Sheila, Uncle Max thank you for everything. If it wasn't for you guys I don't know what I would have done. " I said sobbing 

"Awwww honey no no don't cry and it was our pleasure. We love you so much but, its time for our baby bird to spread her wings and fly back home. "

" You know if your parents were alive, they would be so proud of the woman you have become."

" Thanks Aunt Sheila, Uncle Max." 

They both came and hugged me so tight that I thought the blood circulation in my body was going to stop.

" Ok Kids, let her go now it's my turn." 

Laughing, they let me go and say goodbye to Sensei

" Thank you for everything Sensei. You have helped me grow and become stronger as an individual." 

" My dear it was my pleasure having such a good and disciplined student. May god bless you and help you along you journey in life.  I do have one request though before you leave." 

" Yes Sensei, tell me." 

" Teach your best friend how to be disciplined" 

Brax gasped and said" Sensei do you think I'm indiscipline. " 

" Yes Braxton that's why I asked Emily to share her secret with you in being disciplined." 

There was silence for a few seconds and then everyone burst out laughing. 

*throat clearing*" Excuse me Miss if we may leave as we have a flight to catch." 

" Yes Alfred, give me a few minutes I have one last goodbye to say. Till then why don't you wait in the car." 

" As you wish" 

It was finally time to say the toughest goodbye. I looked towards Brax and from the corner of my eye saw his family go inside. 

" Huh so this is goodbye I guess." 

" Nah Em this isn't goodbye........Think of it more like a see you soon. When we have holidays, I'm going to visit you in Denmark and then whenever you have time you come and visit Vancouver and I'm gonna call you or Face Time with you everyday. " 

"Yeah I guess this is a see you soon then." 

" Definitely." 

I threw myself at him and he caught me. 

" I'm gonna miss you so much Brax...........P-Pro-Promise me that you will ta-ke c-are of yourself." I said sobbing.

" I promise I will Em but, you need to stop crying or, you're going to get sick." 

I quickly detached myself from him and dried my tears. 

This was it. I gave him a kiss on his cheek and started walking towards the car. When  I opened the door, I heard him call my name so I turned to look at him. 

" Bye Short stack ......I love you." 

" Bye Braxy Waxy.......... I love you too." 

We hadn't used those names of ours in so long and it brought a small smile to my face. 

I shut the door and we were on our way to the airport. 

Everything passed by in a blur and we were finally at the airport. When I got out from the car, I was speechless. In front of me is a  Bombardier BD 700 Global Express or, the royal jet. It is white in colour with the royal crest in gold on the tail. The guards escorted me to the stairs and, the crew was there to welcome me. After acknowledging them, I finally got a good look of the interior. There were plush white seats and, a cream colour carpet running along the floor. There were wood panels and multiple screens.

As soon as I took a seat, the pilot announced that we were ready for takeoff. I leaned my head on the window and  immediately drifted off to sleep.
