My white dress flows behind me as I walk down the isle crowd with people. I smile when I see him standing at the end of the isle watching me and only me.
He looks very handsome. He has a white tux on with a sash signifying he will be King. He tamed his hair but I don't really like that part. I need to remember to fix that when I get there.I reach him and ruffle his hair. He laughs.

Everyone has gone home and me, Sophie and Ro are sitting in the gardens. I have my head on his shoulder and Sophie's head is on my lap. Now that everyone has gone home we have to wait until the ball tonight. I have had Ro take lesson on dancing for the past four weeks. He is better but not exceptionally. I'm leading not him but it will have to do. The thought that four years ago I buried my childhood friend is getting at me. He seemed like such a good guy.
Ro turns his head and kisses the top my head. A small smile touches my face. My fingers start brushing through Sophie's hair.
I'm happier than I ever had been.
