"Mia, vamos o llegarás tarde a la escuela." My mother said calmly grabbing her bag and leaving with dad not before giving a kiss to my forehead, walking to the chauffeur, who opened the door to the limo for them to enter before closing it and going around the car to hop inside before, driving away. I sigh before grabbing my bag and walking out the door making sure to lock it before heading to the car, thanking the chauffeur before settling down.
By the time I got out of the car I see Clare getting off the bus, I quickly rush over to her linking arms before rushing over to the waiting Alli as we all hug. "You both look great," Alli said looking at us both. "Thanks, so how was your guys' summer?" I asked curiously. "It was great as you can see I cut my hair," She said gesturing to her new short hair. "It was ah-maz-zing!" Alli said dramatically. I laugh with her before saying "Well mines were great, we went to Paris, and let me say, it was beau, vraiment incroyable. Je recommanderais," I said happily.
We continue to recap our amazing summer event when Dave and Connor walk up to us and our conversation slows to a stop. "Hey, Alli. Wanna work on my class rep campaign?" Dave said giving all his focus on Alli. "And why would I do that?" Alli said confused.
Dave laughs nervously before saying "So we can get some quality time together," Dave said cockily. "Oh! Uh...Well see I'd love to, but I'm busy," said Alli. "With what?" "I'll find something," Alli said with a smirk before walking away. I smirk at the boys before following behind her, Clare next to my side.

"42?!" Alli said in disbelief staring at the computer in front of her. "Dave! I need to talk to you," Alli said with her arms crossed. "Uh-oh someone's in trouble," I whispered to Clare who laughs in response. "What can I do you for?" Dave asked as he walked up to us.
"Thanks to you, it's like I barely exist as far as the school's concerned! Dave Turner's girls of Degrassi page? 42?!" "This doesn't make any sense," "How could you do this?" Alli said staring at the ranking.
"All right uh, everyone uh, take your seats. I mean uh, what seats? There are no seats" Principal Simpson said entering the room with a lady behind him. ". As your new principal, I've introduced some changes. Big, big chances," He said walking over to the black silk curtain. "Starting with, wait for it..." as he pulls down the curtains to reveal exercise balls?
''Balls!" He turned around excited. "Balls?" Alli asked questionably. "Balls? Exercise balls. You know, to improve posture uh, heighten attentiveness," He said bouncing the ball towards Dave who in return caught it.
"Is he okay?" Alli asked turning to Connor who only shrugged. "And I'd like to introduce your new instructor, Ms. Oh," Gesturing to the woman next to him. "Hi," She said with a smile, waving at us. "Are you even old enough to be a teacher?" Dave asked bouncing on the exercise ball.
"No bouncing," She said the smiling leaving her face staring at Dave who slowed the bouncing to a stop

"So how was your first day of school?" Dad asked cutting into his steak. "It was amazing, in computer class we have to sit on exercise balls instead of chairs," I said drinking my water. "Why is that?" Mom asked curiously. "Well the principal said it improves posture and attentiveness," I said wiping my mouth with the napkin. "Well that's new I can say for sure," Dad said with a smile.
"Joining any clubs?" Mom asked placing her spoon full of corn in her mouth. "Well I was thinking maybe dance, or singing, or even journalism," "Interesting choices, do you think you'll do any? Last year you didn't do anything you just came home and did work," "Yeah, this year is going to be different. I promise," I said with a smile before getting up and going upstairs to my room.

"42, you both. 42!" Alli exclaims as we leave The Dot to go to the outside seating area. "Okay, your time limit for being upset about this stupid list has officially expired," Clare said sitting down in her seat. "Clare's right there's no need to be upset, it's just a stupid list," I said agreeing.
"Yeah, easy for you both to say, Miss number 3, and Number 1," Alli said. "What can I say," "Do you guys realize the devastating effect this could have on my future?" Alli said. "Oh yeah your right, oh what will the university say!" I stated dramatically sighing.
"Who cares about universities?! I'm talking relationships here. I mean what guy's gonna wanna date number 42? I could be single for weeks! Oh, months," She said wide-eyed. "Maybe even years!" "Or centuries!" Clare and I joked.
"What about prom?" Alli said exaggerating. "Forget about it," Clare said. "But prom is the most important event in a young woman's life," "Ok, we meant this list 'kay your the one one who cares about it," I said trying to calm her down.
"Hey Alli-O," Dave said walking to our table. "Can we talk?" "Yes, please. Come on," Clare said gesturing for Alli to get up, the latter sighs before getting up and walking away with Dave. "Do you think she'll forgive him?" I asked looking at Clare. "I hope so and who knows what maybe they'll even date," Clare said giggling, "No way!"
