Naruto and Sasuke sat together outside the gym. "Sasuke, focus."

"I'm focusing."

"You're gonna take her out to eat," Naruto said slowly. "And get to know her better."

"What if she doesn't want to go out?"

"The purpose of the next few days should be getting to know her. Going out is usually the best way to do that. If you listen to me, you'll get your soulmate to fall in love with you in no time, Believe it!"

"But we're supposed to be going to her apartment."

"That's even better! Get to know her and don't act all shy and mean!"

"I'm not shy and mean," Sasuke grumbled.

"You can be, now, practice is almost over. Go!"

Sasuke nodded. "Right. Do what she wants, get to know her-"

"Don't be shy and rude," Naruto added. "You got this! Now, go get your soulmate!"

Sasuke nodded and walked into the gym. _____ was shooting the ball around with Itachi and Kisame. Sasuke walked over to them. "I didn't know you knew my brother," he said.

_____ grinned. "Hey, Sasuke! We met today."

Sasuke nodded. "Ready to go?"

"Yeah! Do you mind if we just go to my house?"

Sasuke nodded. "Sure."

"Well, this is my house," ____ said as she unlocked the front door.

"Do you live with your parents?"

"Nah, I live with Sai." ____ and Sasuke kicked off their shoes.

"Oh?" Sasuke said.

____ chuckled. "Yeah. You sound confused."

"I am? Do you have jobs?"

"We do," ____ said. "Uh, I work at night at a nearby grocery store, and Sai works after school, and on the weekends. Plus, our foster dad is in the army, so he sends us money."

"Wow," Sasuke muttered.

"Yeah, you might catch Kakashi walking through here. He's close with our foster dad, so he comes to check up on us every few days or so."

Sasuke nodded as he sat on the couch. "It's nice in here."

"Thanks," ___ said with a smile. "Do you want something? A drink? A snack?"

"No thanks," Sasuke said.

____ looked at him for a moment before she laughed. "You're really shy, aren't you?"

"I'm not shy," Sasuke grumbled.

"You are, it's cute," ___ said as she set her bag down and pulled out a notebook. A light blush spread across Sasuke's checks, which went unnoticed by her.

"So, I was thinking we just plan out our project. We should set deadlines for ourselves, and leave a bit of space for change or late stuff, ya know? I like to stay organized, so I know what I have to do each day."

Sasuke nodded. "Sounds good."

"Okay, so I was thinking-"

After about ten minutes, they had finally worked out a suitable schedule that would fit both of their schedules.

"Hey, if you work, how do you have time for basketball, sleep, and school work?"

"Well," ____ said. "I work from 7 to midnight, so I have about three hours to do school work, make dinner, and get ready for work. Sometimes, I work during my break and finish whatever during school."

"Ah, makes sense. I've noticed you doing work before class sometimes."

"Yep. I usually get Kakashi to help me with my studies and he isn't super strict with homework, since he knows I work. It's been such a lifesaver!"

Sasuke chuckled. "I bet."

____ looked at the clock and stood up. "Well, it's almost five. Wanna stay for dinner? We could work on the rest o our homework together, and I'm making Katsudon! Fun fact, that is Izuku Midoriya's favorite food."

"From My hero? Right?"

"Correct!" ____ said with a grin. "So, what do you say?"

Sasuke paused for a moment before he nodded. "Alright, sounds good." ____ nodded. "Well, you can watch TV if you want. I'll be right back."

Sasuke nodded again and pulled out his phone.

Naruto: How's it going?!

I'm staying at her place for dinner.

Naruto: Awesome!! Now, remember what I said! Get to know her and don't act like your normal self!

What's that supposed to mean?

Don't be rude and shy, duh.

I'm not, dummy.

Did you start the Math hw?

Sasuke sighed and shook his head. "Idiot," he muttered to himself.

"Sasuke, you ready to eat?"

Sasuke looked up and nodded. "I filled in the answers to your math homework. If you need help explaining it, I can."

"You didn't have to do that, but thanks." ____ smiled. "C'mon. Take a break and come eat."

Sasuke nodded and stood up.

"You don't talk much, do you? You've nodded more times than I can count," ____ said with a chuckle.

Sasuke cleared his throat. "Uh, sorry."

"It's okay. You just have to get more comfortable around me, right? I'm the same way." _____ and Sasuke sat at the table.

Sasuke had a small smile on his face as they ate together. He felt different. Like all his problems were trivial, and everything wrong in his life was right, as long as she was by his side.

'Is this what soulmates are supposed to feel like?' He thought.

"You're a great cook," he finally said.

____ smiled. "Thank you. I taught myself," she said with a chuckle. "So, Sasuke, what are your interests?"

Sasuke paused. "I like to draw," he said. "I never leave the house without my sketchbook. And," he paused. "I like anime."

____'s eyes seemed to light up. "You can draw?! That's so cool! And I love anime! Do you watch demon slayer! I'm so excited for the new movie to come out!"

(a/n: I watched it and it made me cry.)

Sasuke paused for a moment. Okay, so maybe he lied about liking anime, but it's not like he can't just watch it later, right?

"Well, we could watch it together, if you want. My family usually gets new movies before they come out, and we watch them in the theater we have in."

"You have a theater... in your house?" ___ said.

"Uh, yea? It's pretty small, with only a few chairs. We could watch the movie this weekend?"

_____ grinned. "Sound great! Oh, I'm so excited, thank you Sasuke!"

"It would be a nice opportunity for us to hang out again? Without having to do any work," Sasuke said. "Naruto said it would be good for us to get to know each other better."

"We should invite him too! I love spending time with Naruto!"

For a moment, it felt as though Sasuke had been punched in the gut. Does she like Naruto?
