Chapter 3

William slept on the couch. I told MJ to lock her door since we didn't know William very well. I heard a knock on the door "William, get that" I whispered. MJ followed me to my room to hide from the unknown visitor "Hello, sir" William said in a very formal voice

"Hi, sir, sorry to bother you, but we are looking for my daughters, they have just gone missing, have you seen them pass through here?"

"Mom?" MJ whispered. My eyes went wide open in shock. To be honest, it doesn't surprise me that it was my mom who came and not my dad, but how did she find us? Mariangel pulled out a paper with my face on it and on the bottom of the paper my mother offered 200,000 kois for me and 200,000 kois for MJ

"Oh, wow! 400,000 for them!" William exclaimed.

"Dalia Ziva Vesta and Mary Jane Vesta princesses of Vesta."

"Shit! Shit! He's gonna rat us out." I said.

"Well, they-" he was hesitant. If he ratted us out, he'd be killed. Hiding us from the king and queen!? He'd be dead by tomorrow "If I see them, I will make sure to take them back to Vesta"

"I guess, I also have to tell you that Dalia committed homicide on Prince Cole."

"We need them alive. " said the knight behind her "I don't think they went far, or could beat a guy like you"

"Yeah, MJ can't run very far or for very long"

"What!?" MJ exclaimed "I can run fast! And for very long, right?" I didn't answer her "Right?" she said nervously

"Well, sir, if you see them please inform us"

"I will," William answered and slowly closed the door. Mariangel got into the carriage and galloped away "Dal, MJ, you can come out now"

I opened the door slowly and peeked my head out of the room. I exhaled and sat back at the table without giving time for William to ask questions

"Dalia Ziva Vesta?" He exclaimed in shock "Mary Jane Vesta? Runaway murderer and princess!? 400,000 kios! No fighting? No running away? Nothing?" he looked up at us "I'll take it"

"William, no!" I exclaimed, but he threw himself onto MJ. He lifted his fist about to punch MJ, but I tackled him to the ground "You stupid traitor, I knew I shouldn't have trusted you" I wrapped my arms around his neck "Die, die!" I exclaimed. He flipped to the other side "I can take a big guy like you, bitch, and MJ can run very fast, very fast, right? MJ!?" She placed her arms by the side of her waist and looked around "Run MJ! That's what I'm trying to say!" She ran out the door.

William shouldered me on the stomach which knocked my breath out "Oh, you stupid" He stood up as I groaned in pain on the ground "200,000 kios on my hand" William was hit with a pan on the head and as he fell to the ground, MJ knocked him out "You son of a bitch, you did it"

"I did it?"

"Yeah, you did. Now, let's go save that stupid prince of yours" I stood up, grabbed the suit, the bow n' arrow, my shoes, and my sword "Yeah, let's go!" MJ exclaimed. William groaned in pain as MJ slammed the door behind her. We left walking.

"Are we there yet?" MJ asks

"MJ, we've been walking for 10 minutes and besides you had the idea" I hear a horse approach. "Check this out," I say, and grab my sword "Go hide" MJ runs behind some trees, and the horse approaches. The horse is ridden by an old man, I lift my hand up and my palm is wide open, signaling him to stop. He slowly stops "Sir, I need to confiscate your horse"

"Wh-why?"

"There has been a princess. A runaway princess, she killed Prince Cole"

"Yeah, I've heard about that" he answered in a British accent

"So we think she could be in any horse or carriage" I imitated his accent

"But Vesta is hours away and you can check my carriage"

"I don't make the rules, sir"

The man gets out of the carriage, and I wait for him to walk away "MJ, let's go!" I exclaim. We both get into the carriage "I can't believe you did that!"

"What!?"

"Steal. From an old man"

"Alright, we can give it back to him, and we can walk 2 months straight, or even more" MJ stays silent "Yeah, that's what I thought" we stayed silent for a while before MJ said, "Why did you change your mind?"

"Well, I thought about what you said"

"About you being boring? And not living the risk?"

"Yeah, it kinda hurt my feelings"

"Oh"

"But you were right. If I'm gonna die, I want to do it in a fun and daredevilry way besides who can say 'I saved a prince from being killed in their lifetime?"

"Nobody"

"Yeah, exactly"

"So, you know where we're going?"

"No, I was expecting you to ask me that and since you're the biggest nerd I know, I knew you'd come ready"

"No. I am not a- I came ready" I shrugged my shoulders as she pulled out a book

"Wow! You're literally THE biggest nerd, and Nat knew how to do math"

"I know physics"

"That's WAY" I continued the word into a very, very long sentence.

"That's enough" I shut up. She opened the book "Alright, so, we have to go through Bida, Ira, Naina, Hugga, Coldshine and then Tribba"

"Where are we gonna sleep for the night?"

"On top of BigFeet Black-hearted piglet tail rat tail bitch" I patted the horse.

"I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that and I'm going to ask again"

"Right."

"Where are we going to sleep?"

"I don't know. Maybe, on the side of the road"

"Oh"

"Oh" we both said disappointed "When is that dance by the way?"

She opened the book again "Oh, not the book again"

"Yes, book again" she searched through the pages "It says here, they make a dance every year for the birthday of Vincent hoping to find him a wife and his birthday is on November 14"

"How old is he?"

"He's gonna be 18"

"Oldass"

BigFeet moved around in desperation and almost threw us off "Oh, BigFeet Black-"

"Don't call it that"

"Alright, well, it's getting tired"

I got off BigFeet and helped MJ off. MJ lay on the ground and I lay beside her "It's so cold, right?"

"Yeah, goodnight!"

MJ sighed and turned her back to me "MJ, I'm kidding" I sat up and looked through my bag. Luckily enough, Nat packed us a blanket "here you go" I handed her the blanket. She slipped it on and I could tell she got warmer

"Now, I'm cold"

"Suck it up" she chuckled
