POV: You

Part 1.

It's been around two weeks since I rescued Eren and Ymir from Reiner and Bertholdt. Me, Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Historia, Annie, Sasha, Connie, and Jean had become the new Levi squad. Right now, we were essentially in the middle of no where, living in a cabin in the middle of the woods. The purpose of this was to keep Historia safe. Eren was finishing up his chores as a, I had finished mine and right now I sat on a stool sharpening my knife outside by the door while keeping an eye out for Jean, Sasha, and Armin who were out to get some supplies. Mikasa, Historia, Annie, and Ymir were out collecting fire wood, however, knowing Ymir she's probably slacking off in some way or being over protective of Historia. Connie was inside with Eren.

"It sure is nice out today" I comment as I sharpened my knife.

As I sharpened my knife, I noticed something at the part of the blade near the sharp end. It was odd because it looked like something was engraved into the blade but was then covered up, it was like that on both sides of the knife. I was curious, so I started to use the most aggressive whet stone I had on me and worked both sides of my knife with it. After some time, the engraving came to view. There were two names on the blade, one on each side. On one side had my last name, while the other side said Reiss.

"What the hell....how is this possible?" I questioned in my mind.

"Perhaps, Dad saw a glimpse into the future like I have, and the knife was required to have that future happen" Lauren tells me.

"I guess that's possible" I replied.

I then finished what I was doing and cleaned up the rest, with my knife now showing the engravings. When I finished up, I see Jean, Sasha, and Armin arrive with the carriage filled with supplies.

"Hey, (Y/n). Mind helping us?" Jean says as he got off the carriage.

"Not at all" I reply.I stand up and went over to the carriage.

"(Y/n), got some apples while we were at the market, wanna try some of the one I sampled?" Sasha asks while holding a half eaten apple.

"Yeah, let me have a taste" I reply as I take the apple. I take a bit of the apple and it was quite good "These are good"

"Hah, I told you I picked the right ones" Sasha tells Jean.

"Yeah yeah yeah" Jean says as he grabs a sacks me throws it on his shoulder "Hurry up get this crap inside"

I finish off the apple, which was only two more bites then chucked the core into the compost. I take the last crate I m the carriage and walked in side. At the door I sipped my boots off of any mud. I walk in and set the crate on the table. Eren was sweeping while complaining to Jean about wiping not his shoes off.

"We're back" Mikasa says as she, Annie, Historia, and Ymir walk in. Mikasa was carrying an axe while she, Annie and Ymir carried some fire wood.

"Hey (Y/n), Historia tried to do hard labor and get her hands dirty, please talk some sense into this girl as her boyfriend" Ymir exclaims as she puts the fire wood away
