A Wrong Move

Prologue

"For God's sake, Ajay",Mehek was mortified, "How could you?". "I am really sorry, Mehek but I was helpless before his pleas. I promised to help", Ajay tried his best to clarify his side. "You should have thought about me before making a ridiculous promise that involves me" she was trying hard to control her emotions, "We are supposed to be married in a month. You brought me to city, in pretense of buying my bridal wear but you have had a vile plan in your mind". She felt utterly betrayed. "I swear I had no such plans", he denied vehemently.

"Nothing disagreeable will happen, Mehek. I promise", Ajay tried to persuade but she chided. He knew he had hurt her feelings and to an extend broke her faith. "Mehek, no one will know anything. Since you are from village, none will recognize your identity and trace you back. Before the night is over, we will be back home", he smiled reassuringly at her while she still remained dubious. So he sat beside her explained everything in detail

"I am trusting you with most precious person in my life", Ajay told Vicky. As time neared, he was having second thoughts of pulling Mehek into the dirty game. "I know but trust me I will handle everything", Vicky promised him. "For this plan to work, we need someone whom cannot be easily traced", he reasoned, "Mehek perfectly fits the bill". The more he tried to explain, the more Ajay got scared. "You know it's for a good cause", Vicky was desperate. Ajay sighed and agreed eventhough his heart was at war.

"Where are you going?", Harish Khanna asked his son who was dressed to kill. "Club", Shaurya replied in mono-syllable. "You just got engaged today", Harish spoke sternly but soon shifted uncomfortable when Shaurya glared at him. "Don't land in any trouble", he advised his son. "You can't rule me", he smirked, "Just be happy that I agreed to your proposal and got engaged to woman you chose".
