I sat in my bathtub, staring blankly at my bathroom wall. I felt a chill in my bones that I had never felt before. That was when I had a feeling that this week was not going to be normal. You see, you might say "Oh c'mon, you and your stupid feelings. No one cares." But they did care. At breakfast, the normally loud dining room was as silent as a quiet fire slowly licking up a house. No whispers. No gossip. Just silence. That was when I couldn't breathe.

I clutched the sides of my head, trying to breathe. I could hear the faint murmurs of my fellow Etherealki, shaking me and thumping my back. They only made it worse. I felt my arms go limp and hands rubbing my cheeks as I submerged into my nightmares.
