Chapter three the purple deer

Three days later

The last three days were simple nothing really happened sniffles was still trying to figure out the combination for the case Corey And flippy we're getting closer Corey was now much happier he mostly played Minecraft with flippy and went on walks with flaky and when flippy wasn't around nutty would come over and they would hangout Corey was happy he was applying for a job a antique shop he hasn't seen the place yet he was told to apply for the job by flaky they were going through his application witch was hard to make because of his predicament but the manager never calls he only texts corey was waiting for a text From him to say If he got the job or not he was in his room he was more settled in flippy said he could stay as long as he wanted Corey's wounds were almost fully healed today flippy Andrew Corey we're planing on watching a horror movie tonight but since it was early he was planing on walking to nuttys house and hang out with him since flippy was with handy and splendid was just starting to search the forest more he wasn't getting up and walking out the door when he heard his phone buzz it was a text from flippy "hey I'm going to buy some snacks while I'm in the store for tonight what would you like" flippy then texted "surprise me I'm going to go hangout with nutty" 

he then began to walk to nuttys house on the way his phone rang again it was a long text from the store manager it said he got the job corey was very happy now he then texted flaky "I got the job" flaky responded almost immediately "yea congrats are you excited" Corey then responded with "yes I cant wait I'll tell you more about it later I'm going to nuttys place" he then put his phone away and continued to walk 

When he got to nuttys he knocked on the door nutty was waiting for him so he opened the door and they went in the living room and they played some games on nuttys switch "so did you get a response to you job application yet" nutty asked "yes he said I got the job I just have to stop by tomorrow and get ready he's going to show me the ropes" Corey said smiling "wow that's amazing Corey" nutty said smiling  "thanks I guess it is" Corey said now a bit proud of himself now for his achievement they continued to talk and play nutty had shown him a game where you wake up on a island full of dinosaurs and other cool stuff and you slowly get more advanced in technology nutty already had a decent base and had guns already while Corey tried to legal up on his own nutty would help him by protecting him because unlike Minecraft in this game everything wanted to kill you he couldn't walk ten feet without something trying to kill him so he ended up accepting nuttys help and he gave him a gun and ammo and some armor Corey immediately ran into the jungle to fight something nutty Fallowed and when he got to him he saw Corey walking up to a big trex looking dinosaur "wow what is that" Corey said nutty then realized with horror on what Corey was walking up too "get away from that now" nutty said warning him "why I can kill it" Corey said as he took aim the dinosaur still hasn't noticed them "no that's a giga they are almost impossible to kill at our level we need to leave before it sees us" before they could continue the giga noticed them and began to run in their direction this caused Corey to realize he messed up they both ran back into the jungle and back to their house the whole time they could hear it chasing after them luckily the tree got to thick for the dinosaur to fallow so they made it back to nuttys base

after a bit more playing Corey got a text from flippy "how's it going" after reading this Corey messaged him back "yea we are playing a game when is flaky coming by" flippy responded two minutes later "I was on the phone with flaky she is going to go hang out with her friends today" corey then responded "ok we are just wrapping up here sounds good I'll walk back in a bit" after that nutty spoke "who was it" Corey put his phone in his pocket and spoke "oh it was flippy he said flakys going to go to a friends house so I'm going to walk back to flippys" nutty smiled then spoke "ok want me to come with you" Corey smiled and spoke "ok that would be nice" nutty then had a expression on his face like he had an idea "why don't we go shopping we can go through town then to flippys it's on the way" Corey thought about it and remembered that flippy was giving him allowance money he was saving it and had a couple hundred bucks "oh what the hell why not let's go" Corey said as he got up and nutty fallowed 

They were walking down the street when they saw a candy store nutty ran in and started to look around corey chuckled at this and fallowed him after a while of nutty grabbing candy they went to the counter and nutty put down the pile of candy the cashier rang it up and put it in a bag "that will be fifty two dollars" the cashier said but before nutty could pull out his wallet Corey paid the cashier and handed nutty the bag as they walked out "you didn't have to do that for me I could've paid for it myself" Corey smiled as nutty put the candy in his backpack "I know I just wanted to" nutty then pointed at a store and spoke "ooh Corey I think you will like this place" nutty said as he grabbed Corey by the arm and dragged him towards the store 

When they got to front door of the store nutty gestured for Corey to enter he did so and nutty fallowed when he got in he looked around and it was a weird store their was a lot of antique and modern items in the store he looked at some items there was a shark jaw on the wall he saw a suit of armor it looked like something out of a movie when he got to the front counter he saw the cashier was a purple deer he smiled but didn't talk "hi mime it's been awhile how's it going" nutty asked but mime didn't speak he just nodded and continued to smile Corey was confused but then mime walked around the counter and out of nowhere he hugged Corey he was very surprised by this and tried to escape but his hug was firm and he couldn't get out but It felt nice so he relaxed a bit then Corey had a realization mime let him go Corey spoke "wait is this the antique shop I applied for" mime smiled more and nodded "well ok it's nice to meet you sir" Corey said as he reached out to hack his hand mime then hugged him again" witch even though he already did this it still caught him off guard "oh yea you don't have to be professional with mime he prefers you to be yourself" nutty said this was a relief for Corey after mime let Corey go Corey spoke "so when should I start......." he was cut off as mime walked to the back room behind the counter and came back after a minute with a long red rectangular box he placed it on the counter and gestured for Corey to open it he did so to reveal a beautiful katana "for me" Corey said confused mime nodded excitedly "oh he gives people he likes gifts" Nutty said Corey then looked back at mime "thanks I love it" mime looked very happy that Corey liked his gift         "Oh when do you want me to start working" Corey asked mime shrugged and made a i don't know expression "I can start tomorrow how does that sound" mime smiled and nodded "ok I'll start to arrow then thanks again for the gift I'll see you later then" Corey said as he walked out the door with nutty 

As they walked down a sidewalk nutty spoke "why don't we look at the sword If mime gave it to you it must be special" Corey looked at him confused "what do you mean by special" nutty paused then spoke "oh well mime doesn't just give normal gifts he knows what someone would like just by looking at them so he knew you would like it and there is more to that sword than meets the eye" Corey thought for a moment before speaking "well you are right I really like it but I wonder why he gave it to me" after a bit of walking they reached a park this was right near by where flippy lived witch was down a road through the forest for a couple hundred feet so they were walking through the park to the road but then they stoped at a bench they opened the box they Hadn't seen the blade yet it was still in the scabbard so Corey picked it up "go on open it" nutty said with excitement waiting to see the sword "ok ok I'm opening it" Corey pulled the scabbard off revealing a shiny silver blade with red symbols on it in another language "what doesn't that say" nutty asked pointing to the symbols on the blade "I don't know nutty" they both sat their puzzled looking at the red symbols for a few minutes before they sealed it and put it back in the box they the continued to walk back to flippys 

When they got their flippy was on the couch "hey where have you guys been" flippy asked "oh we went shopping and it turns out the place flaky had Corey apply for is mimes antique shop and he gave Corey this" nutty said gesturing to the long box in Corey's hands "oh what is it" flippy asked without talking Corey pulled the sword of of the box and pulled it out of the scabbard "wow that's awesome but what does that say" flippy asked pointing at the symbols "oh we don't know mime didn't tell us we are going to try and figure that out" Corey said excitedly "oh if you are trying to figure it out go to the library I bet the language section has something on this" Corey nodded "ok thanks" then they heard a knock at the door they opened it to see flaky "hey I was stoping by to congratulate you on getting the job" they then filled her in on him meeting mime "oh wow and he gave you that" she said looking at the sword they showed her "yup and I'm starting work tomorrow" flaky was visibly very happy for him "ok I have to go nutty do you need a ride home" nutty smiled and said "yes please that would be nice" flaky then spoke "ok I have to go now come on nutty" flaky and nutty then walked out the door leaving Corey and flippy alone "alright I'm going to sleep I'll drive you to work tomorrow" flippy said "ok thanks I'm going to hit the hay too" Corey said As he went to his room and jumped on his bed falling asleep almost instantly
