"That's the last of them" a guy in bright red headphones noted, pushing the last of the Toppat wannabe's into the arms of a police officer and walks back to a helicopter behind the scene
"Glad it's over, I was getting tired of chasing these guys around" a redhead girl complained, getting into the helicopter with her comrade.
The first thing they saw was someone else in the back, fast asleep on a seat
"Looks like Henry feels the same" they both chuckled, the guy going to the control seat for the helicopter while the girl went to take a seat opposite of their sleeping friend
"Take us home Charles, it's been a long week" she sighed, buckling up her seatbelt
"Already on it Ellie" Charles called out over the loud sound of the helicopter blades starting.
They flew back in silence, too tired to talk, the only thing breaking it was Henry's snoring and sometimes sleeptalking
"Give me the shiny" Henry mumbled right before snoring once again making Ellie give a chuckle of laughter
"Seems like Henry still has that thief we first met inside of him still" Charles laughed.
They continued flying, until Charles came to a sudden stop, jolting Ellie in her seat and making Henry fall onto the floor from not wearing his seatbelt
"Wh- What's the sudden stop for?" Ellie asked as Henry gave a yawn and sat upright
"You won't believe me unless you see it for yourself" Charles spoke cautiously making everyone feel a tad scared, Charles never let his happy and cheerful personality fall unless something serious is going on. The two made their way to the front where Charles was, freezing in their tracks at what they saw.
The grassland they were flying over seemed to be glitching all over the place, multiple colours covering the ground which flickered to another colour colour every milisecond.
"What the-" Henry muttered quietly, finally coming out of his drowzie state
"Is the land... glitching?" Ellie asked in bewilderment
"I guess so" Charles answered, as confused as everyone else.
Suddenly, the helicopter they were in started having the same effect as the grassland. As it glitched, parts of the helicopter disappeared, making it spiral out of control.
"Is this the end?" Ellie yelled over Henry's screams
"If it is, I'm glad it's with you two" Charles smiled, closing his eyes.
All of a sudden, a bright blue and black circle thing appeared next to the helicopter
"Jump! Quickly!" a voice called out from the vortex thing. Without a moment hesitation, the trio jumped from the helicopter into the vortex, the remainder of the helicopter crashing into the glitching grassland behind.
