Why can I never keep my word when it comes to writing

The trio fell for about a minute before hitting something that was like the floor, but it didn't seem that way. The floor they landed on was black with blue numbers constantly moving like a binary code, same as the roof, the room was too big to even see 3 of the 4 walls (which still had the same texture,) the only odd thing was a huge hole in the floor with the code running down its sides (Henry did 'test' by accidentally falling in the hole, turns out that there is a layer of glass covering it they guessed"

     "Where are we?" Charles asked, getting off the floor
     "I have no idea actually" Ellie admitted, which was rare seeing Ellie knew just about every place on earth.
     "You're at the main source" a voice behind the 3 made them turn around. A guy in a black suit and a black had with the label 'security' sat at a chair next to a few computers

     "Wait- hold up. Dave?" Henry asked, finally decided to talk
     "Yup, that's me, but I'm not from your world" Dave explained, spinning around on the chair
     "Our world? What is going on here? What's this 'main source' thing? What was that glitch we saw?" Charles blurted out
     "I'll explain all your questions, but it will take a while so I suggest getting comfortable" Dave told them so they took a seat on some spare chairs.

"When I said 'Your World' I meant I'm not from your timeline. The Main Source is the centre of all of the 16, previously 17 timelines, it's quite hard to explain but I think you'll understand soon enough. The glitch you saw was your current timeline glitching out of existence, I'm not entirely sure how though. And I brought you here because we may need the main people from the timeline to save it," Dave explained making everyone confused. "Ask away your questions, I knew this would get confusing" he sighed.

The trio looked at each other, nodding at Charles to ask the first question
     "Timelines? What are you talking about?" he asked
     "The 16 timelines are basically paths that Henry could have taken if he chose differently. For example, you're current timeline, Henry chose to stay loyal to the Government when he went to the airship, but in another timeline, Henry stole the Romanian Ruby, and in another Henry kidnapped Reginald to hand over to the Government, and in the last of those options, Henry could have decided to accept Reginald offer and becomes the leader of the Toppat Clan" Dave explained
     "Wait, What?! I become the leader for the clan that we took down!" Henry yelled
     "Not in this timeline no, in 4 others, yes" Dave seemed to frown slightly before going back to his usual smile
     "So you're saying that every choice Henry makes could impact the entire world as we know it?" Ellie asked, not noticing Dave's expression
     "Basically, yes" Dave answered.

Henry looked like he was still taking everything in so Charles asked the next question
     "So, what happens in each timeline?" he asked but the computers behind them all started going off with the words "Timeline Corruption" in bold red letters on the screen
     "I guess you'll find out soon, I need to open another timeline vortex, something's been making the timelines disappear as I said before, so I'm trying to save anyone who could play a part when trying to stop this mess" Dave explained, rapidly typing on the computer and pressing enter, which opened a door in the wall that nobody even knew was there "This time the place isn't mid-air like yours so we can travel through. If you want to come, follow me" with that, Dave went through the door which was now blue and black on the edges with a white glow in the middle, with the Triple Threat following him.
