That Orphanage

Just two days ago I had a lead.. She hasn't talked to me since, and my wolf is wanting to rip out my chest. I need to find her, I can't take much more of this.

I walk up to the steps of the orphanage, the whole place looks more like a prison. Some windows boarded up, the wind opening and closing the door at random rates. It almost looks abandoned, but to be honest this is the only orphanage within 200 miles. So, there are quiet a few issues.

I almost can't believe that she once lived here, and even though this place is run down, and beaten up, she still cared for those inside. My mate.

I knock on the door, a woman about a foot shorter than I opens it up and stares up at me.

"Hello, welcome to A second Chance, did you want to come in?"

" Well madam' I have some... disturbing news for you so yes, I think you should be sitting for this."

She allows me inside and we pass four bedrooms, you can hear the kids inside playing together with the toy trains, laughing. They are happy here? In a place so run down?

"Please come in. Sit anywhere you like."

She opens up a door to her office. it is a small space probably no bigger than a bathroom with, a desk, a chair, and a couch. I notice he little cat hanging on to the tree Hang in there. Reminds me of Isealia... I find a nice spot on the couch across from her desk. She sits, and the whole rooms vibe gets uncomfortable.

"What is it you need to talk about?" I can almost see the worry and anxiety in her face.

"Well madam, we have found a lead on Isealia-" She rises out of her seat almost excitedly.

"Isealia! You found her!? Is she oka-"

"Please let me finish," She sits back down in her chair and stares at me intently.

"Like I was saying, we might have found a lead on her. Um, we found a video about 3 blocks down, this video shows her being taken." So I might have lied a bit, who cares. As long as I find her. 

"Isealia was a good child, she was always so kind to everyone, and put all of her friends before herself... even in adoption.." She frowns a bit "But, I don't know anyone that would want to personally hurt her... she was loved by everyone."

"Well, that's good to hear, do you have any information on any co workers or ex boyfriends, anything at all that might help.." I look at her with great curiosity and intent.

'Well... I over heard her speaking to her co-worker, and best friend Deliliah, they were talking about this group of men that had jumped her not even two weeks before she went missing, luckily she got away.."

"This Deliliah, do you have any information on her.." I might be getting a lead on her!

" I am sad to say, no.. Deliiah, she was found dead... a week after Isealia went missing.. We have stopped hiring volunteers for this very reason." 

" I am very sorry about that, but, I promise I will try my best to find her for you." And me, and I will not find her dead. I nod my head and rise.

"Thank you for your time." She nods her head. I leave shutting the door behind me, and that's when she breaks down. I can hear her sobs.. she really loved Isealia, Isealia had no family, so this place was her home.. I know how she feels to love someone and not be able to contact them.. that's the same way I am right now.

I walk down the hall way, and I hear kids laughing, some boys to be exact. I stop in front of the door. Zack and Drew. I place my hand on the doorknob, I turn it slightly and open the door. The kids stop laughing and stare at me, confused and scared. yet, they are curious. "Who are you? You are big, are you a giant?" The kid with scraggly blonde hair, and deep emerald eyes looks up with the up most curiosity.

I laugh mentally, " Hi, I am Daniel, and no I'm not a giant." I pick up the kid and put him on my shoulders, "but now you are the giant." The kids squeals when I take him off his feet.

"Now me! Now me!" Th other kid lifts his hands up wanting me to pick him up to. So, I do, I lift him and put him on my other shoulder. " Now you both are giants."

These kids remind me of myself, curious, and happy. not worried of the danger, just "going with the flow".I run up and down the narrow hall way, and the kids scream and squeal WEE! Many of the other kids have opened their doors and are wanting their turn with the Big Friendly Giant.

Suprisingly, What I set myself out to do that day, was accomplished in a different way. I learned what her life was like in the orphanage, with friends and toys to pass the day. I am glad I could make these kids happy, even if iit was for those couple hours. And by the end of the day they didn't want me to leave. "I will be back soon" I promised the kids that and off they went to play some more...

So, I want to know how are you guys liking the book so far, I want atleast a hundred veiws and then we will work from there haha.

P.S. sorry if the book is a little crappy at times, its my first time writting haha. but, I might be doing quite a bit of update tonight. a couple chapters at the least hahaXD
