Y/N pov

Just you and your small light, stuck inside of this lamp. Even if it's just you, it's better than getting out to only grant wishes for people who are money and fame seekers. Wish after wish, person after person is just another one who wants money or fame. But the only one who knows what happens next is me. Once you're gone they often mess up their own careers, only karma tells the truth for them in the end.

As you were laying down on a blanket and about to drift of to sleep the whole place suddenly got shaky. Someone has found the lamp again. Preparing yourself immediately you waited for the person to rub the lamp. Hopefully they know what they're doing. As if on que, the person did rub the lamp and you were now on your way out again.

Heeseung POV

"Heeseung could you please be so kind and get the vinyls from the basement while we're gone?" my mom asked me as she was getting ready to leave. I just gave her a small nod as she kissed my cheek and followed my dad out the door.

Thinking about it I could've just taken in the last minute but since they needed it for a party later on in the evening I decided to just get it over with. I have to go home to my own later on anyways.

The way down to the basement is always the worst. It's dark and the light is not the brightest one since no one decides to change it to a better one. The basement was just filled with dust, I refuse to believe that anyone actually has a good looking basement. It's just a place for leftovers.

Searching for the vinyls, I realised how much of a mess this is. It shouldn't be this hard to find a box of vinyls. One thing that caught my eye was my dad's box of old trophies, I don't know what they were for, some might be my brother's as well. They were going from big to small but what caught my eye in the box was a lamp. It didn't look like a trophy in fact it obviously wasn't, but what was it doing here then? As a joke I started rubbing it, chuckling to myself not believing anything would happen since it only happens in movies. But the more I rubbed the more smoke started to come out and I could feel my heart beating faster and faster.

I dropped the lamp out of fear, backing away from it and when all the smoke was gone I saw a girl. She looked like the typical thing you'd imagine to come out from this, a genie. A high top and baggy pants. "I must be dreaming", was the only thing I could think right now.

"Good day" she suddenly said. She looked young, like she could be my age. "I'm Y/N, your own genie. You get granted three wishes about anything. But I'm warning you, be careful because your actions when I'm gone is not something I can fix" she continued. Is she actually real? I couldn't get any words out, I was just staring at her in shock. "Oh yeah, you might never have seen a genie before. Some people are quick to wish but you're just quiet" she said letting out a small laugh.

"I'm sorry... I just can't process all of this" I said, taking her back by my words.

"How old are you?" she suddenly asked. "You look younger than the rest of those that I've had getting me out of this. All of them have been very quick to wish. Either for money or fame." she continued sounding impressed.

I could imagine what type of people she has met. Adults who are just greedy for money and fame. She said she can't change our actions after our wishes, I wonder what happened. Did they go crazy and couldn't fix it? There are just so many questions in my head right now.
