Midas (P.O.V)

I was walking down the long hallways and
I spotted a flash of pink suddenly.
Then a flush of brown wavy brown hair.

Skye.

I don't know what I was thinking when I tried to kiss her. But ugh, I couldn't help it.
I can't focus on that right now.

I called a meeting. We have some missions we have to attend to.

As everybody piled in to the meeting room I glanced at Skye.
She glanced at me.

Ever since we had that incident well it was awkward when we bumped into each other. Or when she caught me looking at her.

"Today we are going on duo's.  I picked randomly and this are your assingements.
Tina and Brutus," they high fived. I continued "Maya and Peely, and finally Me and Skye." I know I know, I totally did that on purpose. Honestly though. You're kinda right

...

Skye looked at me with a slight smirk.

Did she know? Hope not.

"The first duo is me and Skye. When we come back we'll give you your times"
I left to get ready.

And mentally prepare myself.

(Skye P.O.V)

I'm pretty sure that he did that on purpose.
Like after what happened. I don't know.

I took my Scar out of my weapons category  along with a tac and pump.

I put them in my adventure backpack.

Along with some heals and bandages.

I'm so happy, I'm trying not to show it but I can't help it! It's my first mission with Midas. And my first mission!!!!! Weeeeeeeeeheee. Okay now professional style.

I walked out ready to go.
As I reached the bus stop I sat down and waited for Midas.

As I caught sight of him he seemed surprised to see me here before him.
I smiled and waved. "Hey Partener" I greeted.

Partner? I can do better then that.

He just looked at me like I was a physcopath.

I think.

I hope.

...

I turned around as I observed the other duos.

I spotted Rue. The girl who tried to kill Meow. It was all over the news.

Along with her was him. You know. Him.

The poopy head.

Chaos...

Hate him.

I nudged Midas with my shoulder and pointed to them.

He looked and grunted. "Shoot"

But then the Bus came and we lost sight of them.

(Midas P.O.V)

We got on the bus and talked about what place we should land.

"Okay, so we should stay clear of Chaos. He's bad news." I said.

Skye just shrugged. And nodded.

"Skye." She looked up. I could see the excitement in her eyes. "Nothin' never mind" I whispered.

She just shrugged again and turned away.
What the heck is wrong with her?

(Skye P.O.V)

I was trying to ignore Midas so I just sat ther shrugging and nodding. The thing is that, I had bumped into Rue before we got into our seats. She whispered in my ear and said:

"He doesn't really like you, he is just toying with your mind"

I didn't want to believe that.
I knew she was the one toting with my mind. But still. I can't help something like that. 'Cause it could be true.

Midas kept talking about where we should land. I didn't answer.

From the corner of my eye I saw him move closer to me.

I looked at him. And he backed away.

Idiot.

I kept staring out the window and then I caught sight of a restaurant me and my family used to go to. When I was 14. 4 years ago.

All the memories flooded back to me.

"She's insane, you can't let her out like that"
"She is not insane, sh-"
"She was found covered in her own parents blood! What do you think of that. She killed the  bloody bastards!"

My deep thoughts were interrupted by someone shaking me.

I turned swiftly to give that person a piece of my mind. But it was just Midas. He kept shaking me.

That's when I realized we were in the air.

And I was crying.

Teehee, so in the next chapter I will continue the duo and all. Also, I tried out I different way of writing comment if you like the new way! Also vote and enjoy my work!!
