Skye's Birthday

(Skye P.O.V)

The sun hit my eyes as I heard snickers and whispers.
My eyes flashed open, the sounds stopped.
As my line of vision became clear I noticed that my friends were standing there.

I grinned. "Happy Birthday!!!!!!" They all said.

Tina with a huge smiled on her face, wrapped around in Brutus' arms.
By him was Meowscles with a smile on his face.

Tina held out a big cake that was beautifully colored with red and blue.
With pink frosting in the middle that spelled out Skye's B-day.

I hugged Tina and meow while I fist bumped Brutus.

I looked around realizing that there was no Midas.

My shoulders slumped. He didnt forget right?

I hope not.

I think Tina noticed my slumped shoulders  as she said: "I don't think he forgot. Uh He probably just overslept or something." She said unsure. I shrugged and smiled. "Whatever! Let's just play some games!!" I said.

But really I was just not that exited.

After an hour of beating everybody at fortnite and Mario Kart. I was laid out on my rug along with Drift Tina and Meow.

We were playing truth or dare.

"Skye Truth or Dare?" Asked Tina. "Dare." I said always up for a challenge. "I dare you to kiss Drift." She said smirking.
My face turned cold. Uh.
Drift?

I looked over at Drift and was surprised to see he was almost as terrified as I was. Or well looked that way anyways.

I got up following Drift to a little corner away from them.

I stared into his eyes. As he leaned closer. His warm breath was hovering over my lips. And I closed the gap. His soft lips were moving against mine.

A door creaking brought us apart after a couple seconds.

I looked up to see Midas. Holy Crap, no.
His eyes were hurt and angry. As his black hair swayed on his forehead. "Uh, Happy Birthday Skye." He said.
I smiled just as I realized I was still hugging Drift. I gently moved him away from me. As I started walking toward Midas. I grabbed the present he was limply holding out for me.

I opened it as the red and blue ribbons tied to the pretty pink box fell to the floor.

I peered Inside the box. I gasped as I lifted up my treasure. A beautiful bracelet with Ollie on it. I smiled so wide and I looked up to Midas. His eyes seemed more relaxed but were still rigid with pain. He grimaced as his fingertips brushed mine.

"Thanks." I said. He smiled and looked at me with pain. His gaze turned to Drift. As his gaze turned to a glare I touched his jaw. Tracing it, he was startled by my gentle touch. He looked down at me again and smiled. "Yeah." He left with a nod. And stepped outside of my room.

I walked back to Drift and sat by his side.
He smiled at me as he mimicked what I did to Midas.

"I'm tired." I said, indicating that I wanted time alone. They all nodded and left. I heard a shriek and stood up rather quickly.

I saw Tina in front of Midas. As I soon realized he was in front of my room the whole time. I laughed silently at his cute awkwardness.

"Uh- I uh ummm, I wasn't-uh do any- anything uh. I better go now." Midas stirred. Red in the face. I nodded with an amused face.

"He loves you"
