She about the same age as Ryūko.

Backstory
Reiuji is born in regular family except that she have a pair have dark wing.So the government decided to experiment on her when she was 13 and discover that she can control nuclear energy.The catch is that she needs something to store and release that energy.So from the help of Ryūko dad "isshin matoi,"he was able to make a life fiber gauntlet that transformed into a super canon for power and a eye shaped emblem for stored energy.

During that time she would be home schooled and have no friend except her family and siblings. Her only friends were the scientists,isshin motoi,and Ryūko motoi. She would sometimes visit Ryūko because she was lonely.

When reiuji was 15 her entire family was killed,and all the scientists that experiment on the project by nui harime.Isshin motoi was able to escape with the help of Reiuji. Strike with grief she decided to blow up the building thinking she killed nui. She decided to live with isshin until she was 18.

When Reiuji was 16,she was order to pick up Ryūko. When she and Ryūko arrived isshin was killed,and she saw that it was nui. Strike with grief and anger she chased nui until she loss her.Lost and confused she was decided to go to school a year later.Most school would not accept her except one school.

That school was Honnoji Academy
