Meeting the father!

Jacobi's POV

I walked back to my room where Ivy was waiting for me. To be honest I'm really surprised that her mom and dad were vampire hunters. Walking into the room I saw Ivy sitting on our unmade bed.

I turned to her and spoke "Well princess my parents said that we should go find your dad."

She gasped and cried out, "you know we can't do that Jacobi, he will kill you! Are you insane!"

"We need answers Ivy, and your dad has them. My dad even offered to go with us. Your father won't hurt me, I'll make sure of it." Jacobi said.

She sighed and said "Ok."

I went over to her and picked her up in my arms. Kissing her I spoke "I will never let anyone hurt me or you." I said.

"Promise." She said looking up into my eyes with big blue/green eyes.

"Promise." I smiled at her.

Visiting Ivy's father. A day later :) Ivy's POV

Today was the day that Jacobi, David (his dad), and I visit my dad. Yesterday I was a mess, just thinking about possible outcomes of going to see my father. Would he hurt Jacobi? What if Jacobi's father got hurt? What if he hurt me, I am a vampire?

Ever since my dad had my mom leave he has been a mess. He never speaks to me much, just when needed. I don't think he even loves me, I look like my mom so I guess it reminds him.

Jacobi told me to pack a small bag of clothes for the trip. So I got five pairs of underwear, three shirts, three shorts, and a dress. I then placed my toothbrush, hairbrush, pony tails, and a tube of red lipstick. I was ready to go and get this thing over with.

Jacobi decided to take a car, not just any car but a magic car that can fly in the air. "What is this Harry Potter?," I asked him and he laughed. he said that a few years ago vampires were friends with the witches but they had a fall out. Anyways the witches put a spell on our car, allowing it to fly." I nodded my head understanding.

Arriving to Ivy's house! Ivy's POV

Arriving at my house I was a nervous wreck. We landed the car in my backyard. We all got out of the car. I was about to move forward to the house but Jacobi stopped me.

"I smell hunters!" He whispered in my ear. As soon as he said those words into my ear Ms. Lauren ran outside, her eyes were black but where the white was replaced with red.

"Get out, get out, get out!" She hissed/screamed. Lauren then started running at us. David ran at Lauren and picked her up and slammed her down on the ground. When she didn't get up I screamed and ran toward her.

Jacobi held me back. While David went into the car and tied a rope around her hands and feet. David then picked Lauren up and put her in the car. He looked up and gave Jacobi and I a thumbs up.

"Ok we're going in to the house. Then we're gonna find your dad and question him. Best outcome is he starts the fight first, then we knock him out and tie him up. He won't be hurt, just a little sore. Sound good?" He said.

I gave him a are you kidding me look.
"What he's a hunter. That means he's stronger then the average human. I won't kill him." He said

"Fine, just don't hurt him. He is still my dad and I do love him, even though he may hurt you." I told Jacobi and he nodded his head.

Together we flew up to my window and opened it sliding in. "Ivy his scent is very strong now he's in the house." Jacobi whispered.

We flew just above the floor so our footsteps could not be heard. Turning left out of my room we made our way along the hallway into his room. I've never took a step into my dads room ever since mom left.

The door was slightly cracked open, once we reached his room. Slowly I pulled the door open with one hand. We entered but not before a knife flew out of nowhere and nearly hit Jacobi's head if he had not ducked out of the way........
