Fluff is more of a pain than it is a blessing

After getting back to the office and letting Blitzø know what happened last night I flop on the couch. I feel my tail getting slightly crushed as I do this and immediately have to sit back up and adjust it. I pull it out from under me and try to figure out a good angle to put it at so I'm not in pain.

"Having fun there captain dumbass?" I hear Loona remark, clearly amused by my tail antics.

"Oh hush you cute fluff ball." I retort, not really thinking of what I saying at the moment.

"Did.... Did you just call me cute?" I hear her call in an unfamiliar time.

"Yeah I called you cute, shut up and accept it." I yell out, registering that I am probably pissing off Loona.

I hear Loona start to stutter and get up from her chair. I now realize that I'm potentially in danger of an angry hellhound. I hear her walk up to me and brace myself to be smacked, only for it to not happen. I look directly up at her face. I see she's blushing a bit and quite flustered. Probably not used to being called cute by anyone.

"You.... You owe me two boxes of hot pockets n-now." She stutters out. I just smile at her and not.

"Keep it up and I'll owe you three." I chuckle softly, trying not to tease her too much.

I hear her sigh softly, "Don't make it harder than it is Sol."

"I am being honest though Loona, you look lovely." I say, trying to get her to relax a small bit.

All that does is fluster her even more. She just stares at me for a few minutes before I boop her nose. She jumps back from it, at least bringing her back to her senses. I get the smack in the head I was expecting earlier and she walks off, her tail slightly wagging. I chuckle to myself and find a comfortable position on the couch, laying on my stomach.

Wait, did she just call me Sol? I ask myself as I look at her from across the room as she got ready to leave. I guess she did know my name but probably too lazy to say the whole thing.

"Have a good night Loona!" I call out, laying lazily on the couch ready to sleep.

She doesn't respond and I just decide to close my eyes. I think a few hours have passed but there's a knock on the office door. I grumpily flop off the couch and walk over to see who's walking me up in the middle of the damn night.

"Who the fuck is it?" I call out, clearly not in the mood for visitors.

"It's Blitzø, open the door!" I hear the all too familiar voice call out. I grumpily open up to see the tall demon standing there.

"About time, I forgot to grab the office keys," He says, clearly messing with me "So let's talk about you living in the office."

"Blitzø, can't this wait until the morning when everyone gets here? It's like 2 am I think." I say, clearly not in the mood to talk.

"It's the best time to talk, plus it's better if the others don't hear." He says, amused by my suffering.

I groan and follow him into his office. It's a bit more devious at night but I don't care much to get spooked by it. Blitzø kiss in his chair and coughs loudly to get my attention.

"So after you telling me that Verosika came to the office to try and beat the shit out of me I figure I probably should move your ass somewhere else."

I raise an eyebrow at Blitzø, "And this couldn't be done in the morning when everyone got here? I'm tired and quite frankly grumpier than a demon who hasn't had their coffee in weeks."

"And you reek like a hobo so you're coming to stay at my place for awhile until you don't smell like you just got out of a street orgy."

I look at him like he's crazy, "I'm already staying in your office Blitzø. I'd feel bad for doing anything more."

"Oh it's fine, you're family!"

There is no way I'm getting out of this is there?

(I'm sorry for the shorter chapter, I have a pain in the ass thing called writer's block)
