MIA'S POV
I checked the time and it was 12:00pm. Its time for my lunch break I said to myself. I went into the break room and looked to see what we had to eat for lunch. Nothing that interesting to eat, I'll just wait till 1:00 when I get off work I said to myself. I left the break room and finished with my last patient of the day. After that I clocked out and told Tay I would see her at home when she gets there. I got in my car and drove straight home. Its been a long day and all I wanna do is crash in my bed and relax. I finally got home and took my shoes off and put my stuff down on my bed and went to get my things for my bubble bath. I turned on the water added my favorite bubble bath soap and slid right in. My phone started going off so I dried my hands and checked my notifications. I had two messages from Tay and August. I started smiling remembering what had happened early today at my job. I opened his message.

I sent him my address and checked the time and it was 6:45. Let me go find what I am going to wear tonight. I let the water out and got out and wrapped a towel around my hair and put my robe on. I walked to my closet and started to look for what I was going to wear tonight. I decided to wear my white bodycon dress that stops mid- thigh and put my red bottoms and gold accessories to match. I sat my outfit on the bed and began to look for my red lip stick and some accessories. I heard the front door close. Tay home I said to myself. "MIA YOU HOME?!!" she yelled. "BITCH STOP YELLIN, I'm in my room." I said. She came into my room and sat on my bed and watched as I looked around for things. "Where you going tonight?" She asked. "On a date" I said." How come you didn't tell me?"she said. "I was going to tell you but he text me and asked If I was free to go tonight and I said yes".I said. " Ayeee ayeee ayeeee my baby finally finna get her a nigga! Its about time she said. I laughed " girl be quiet you need one to cause you not finna stay up in here all your life and wait" I said. "Maan I know but I only want one man and that's it" she said. " well damn he must mean alot" I said. " He does" she said while smiling. "Well who is he?" I asked. "Well his name is A-" she was cut off by the sound of Mia's ringtone. After about 5 minutes she hung up. "Sorry Tay that was my date he said he coming in 30 minutes so let me get dressed and we can finish our conversation when I get back Ight". I said. " Ight that's fine, have fun boo". She said. " I will". After that tay left and I went to get the curling iron and curled my hair. I but on lotion and but on my matching underwear and bra. I put my dress on and put on light make up and put on my lipstick and earrings and last I but on my shoes and grabbed my phone and purse and some money.
AUGUST POV
I put the address in my phone GPS and drove to her crib. I finally got there after 10 minutes. I checked the time it was 7:55. " Hell at least a nigga not late". I walked to her door and knocked and waited a few seconds before hearing "I'm coming". She opened the door and damn ma was looking good. "You must like what you see" she said while laughing a little. "Like? Ma your beautiful." I said causing her to blush. " Thank you" she said. " You don't look to bad yourself" she said. " Thank you" I said. " You ready to go?" I said. "Yeah , let me just tell my best friend bye". She said. She walked back in the house and came back with her friend. "Tay this August my date and August this is my bestfriend Tay" she said introducing us. I shook her hand and left with Mia. We walked to my car and I opened the door for her and damn baby girl had nice curves on her. I closed the door and got in on my side. I drove us to 'Red Lobsters'.
"So Where We Going?" She asked.
"Red Lobsters, That's Alright ?" I said
"That's My Favorite Restaurant" she said while smiling
"I'm Glad I Picked It Then" I said while driving into the parking lot
I got out and opened her door and we walked in and I got us this nice table. We ordered our food and talked about things we had in common and about our lives and our future.
TAY'S POV
"What the fuck did I just see!" I said. "That can't be who I think it is." "Was I seeing correctly"?. Thousands of questions filled my mind after I seen Mia's date. He didn't even try to say he remembered me. He just shook my hand like we just met. I wonder where they went? That may be my best friend but I won't let her take what was about to be mine. Its time for me to ease drop. I went and but on one of my wigs and grab some clothes to put on and my sunglasses. I grabbed my phone and texted Mia.
