Olaf was in shock. How many decisions were his parents going to make for him? "How many decisions will you make without me??"
"It's only for safety measures, dear," His mother said. "Don't worry, I have my own sleeping bag," Kenma smiled as he turned to go back downstairs, "I'll get it now. It's somewhere.." Olaf groaned and sat down on his bed. He was ready for the day to end already.
Soon enough Kenma came back to the room, looking very awkward. "U-um..Ma'am? I can't find my sleeping bag..." Olaf's mom just smiled and shrugged, "That's okay. His bed is big enough to fit more than one person."
Olaf could not believe this. "Mom! You can't-"
Kenma chuckled and sat on the bed, "Don't worry, I don't snore or roll around in my sleep. Olaf stood up and walked across the room. He didn't really know what to do with this guy in his room. He draped his jacket over the vanity chair before picking out some pajamas from the dresser. Meanwhile, Kenma was making himself at home, taking off his shoes and leaving them beside the bed. He was used to intense safety measures, being a personal bodyguard and all. This was nothing new to him.
Olaf came back in his pastel blue silk robes with roses embroidered on the hems. He awkwardly turned off the lights and went over to his bed. He hadn't slept with anyone else in the room since he was a little kid cowering from his nightmares. Kenma had already gotten comfortable, wearing some boxers and a tank top he'd changed into.
In the morning, Olaf's alarm went off, waking him up immediately as always. When he woke, he noticed something different. Obviously somebody else was in the bed, but not only that. Kenma was hugging him in his sleep!! He quickly sat up and scooted to the edge of the bed. This was a disaster!! Olaf slipped on his slippers and shuffled to his walk-in closet. He needed to continue the day like nothing happened. Exiting the closet fully dressed, he saw Kenma sitting up in his bed. Olaf simply nodded at him before going over to his vanity. He would not say anything. Kenma stretched and went to the bedroom door, where Olaf's mom had rolled in his suitcase. He picked out a fairly simple outfit. Despite it's plainness, it was appropriate for the weather.
Olaf was completely silent the whole morning, including the limo ride to school. Kenma didn't know why, but what he did know was that he wouldn't pry. He also made sure to stay a bit distanced in the hallway.
Before she knew it, the girl with dark brown hair and glasses had fallen into the outcast boy. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" She apologized profusely. She assumed he would've been angry, but he even helped her pick up her books. "It's okay," The outcast boy said while opening his own locker. The tall bodyguard offered a smile at her.
"Your name is Katya, right?" Olaf asked, grabbing his chemistry textbook. "Yea, how did you know?" Katya pushed up her glasses as they began to fall. "We share some classes," Olaf shrugged while closing his locker, finally turning to the girl. She seemed nice, not like the other girls. Kenma was still smiling and friendly.
There was an awkward silence before Olaf turned and said: "Well, see ya around."
During lunch, Katya decided to join the two guys again. Olaf had forgotten his lunch in the mess of the morning, but he wasn't hungry anyway. All he wanted was a drink, so he went to the craft services in the cafeteria. "I would like a...iced coffee." Kenma and Olaf said at the same time. They stared at each other for a moment before turning back to the cashier. "I'll have a black tea with no milk or coffee," Katya said after them, turning toward some yelling from a lunch table.
A short but buff lady was arm wrestling with one of the jocks at a nearby lunch table. She won easily, slamming his hand down. Her win was followed by a chorus of boos from the jocks friends, but Katya was smiling. After the crowd calmed down, she rushed over, completely forgetting about the tea. Olaf and Kenma watched her hug the buff lady happily. Their conversation wasn't audible, but the two were smiling and laughing. Soon, Katya brought the buff lady over to the boys. "Olaf, Kenma, this is Borya, my very good friend."
