Dazed - Part 2

It's been a couple hours since she was taken off to the Tepig's house. She stared at the cup of tea in front of her, the contents inside wobbled every so often making her reflection visibly shudder in the light. She resembled a lost puppy who had nowhere to go, and just did whatever was asked.

"Dad, she's been staring into the cup of tea for about an hour now." Murmured the Tepig to the Emboar. She could barely hear the Tepig, the sound of her thoughts already making time and hearing seem like an illusion. Had it really been an hour she had just stared into the abyss of the cup? She's really didn't know but-

"Amie?-"

"Dear lord in heaven!-" She almost had a mini heart attack as she realized Tepig was standing right beside her. Tepig seemed mildly concerned as he looked over at her, almost as if he was a caring parent looking after a troubled child.

"A-Amie, are you okay? A-Actually scratch that, how I can help? Do you want to go out on a walk? C-C'mon I just can't bare to-"

"W-Why does it matter you don't even know who I am!-" She blurted out in complete frustration before gasping, "I-I'm sorry."

He shook his head, seeming unfazed from the sudden outburst of the Sobble and still standing near. "It's fine, I'm just worried about you, whether as a friend or not. You've been quiet ever since you got here, you won't eat, you won't drink, you won't even look up from this cup you have been staring at since we gave it to you!" He exclaimed, letting the gravity of the situation buffet her with full force. She looked at him for a brief moment before delving into her thoughts again, them almost pulling her away from the situation again.

"O-Okay maybe I do need to go on a walk, my h-head is spinning and I can't think anything good..." A walk, yes a nice simple walk. That'd be good, maybe it'd get her spirits up. Her eyes would finally traverse around the room instead of looking back into the empty cup she's been staring into for what seemed to be an hour.

She sighed, stretching out her little body and then physically realizing how small she was. Was she always this small? Everything just felt wrong in this very moment. Heath would snort, "How about we get you some ice-cream and you can tell me whatever you can remember, something will come to you. I'm sure of it. You can remember your name, so that tells me you're not completely lost."

"Sure. Sure." She was looking at the window, dismissively looking out the window. Seeing Pokemon walk down the street and go about their days. Laughing, chilling, buying stuff, she was amazed. This is such a weird world, but so very interesting. Pokemon, and she's one of them! Though she rubs her head, why can't she remember anything? Does she live here, does she have a home, does-

"Amie!"

"Sorry!" Caught lost in her own thoughts again, she quickly followed Heath out from the house. Her eyes scoured from building to building as they left the house. Heath was sighing to himself as he thought to himself, 'What even happened to this Sobble that it looks just like, it forgot everything?! This is just so... screwed up.' Now talk about lost in thought, we have the world's most confused Sobble and a Tepig who's just as confused as the Sobble over here.

Amie would glance around before she locked eyes with the Machamp merchant from earlier again, at his post and glancing over at her even before she had looked at him. He promptly looked away and Amie would rub her head, following Heath into a sort of "bar". Inside was, uh, well there's a lot of Pokemon in here, enjoying food, drinking, yelling in happiness while listening to a radio that seemed to be broadcasting some sort of event, another group of Pokemon off all the way on the other side of the bar were on a mat, and they were... fighting?

Oh yeah, that bird man with red and yellow feathers just spin-kicked that grey fox who hasn't got a haircut in a century onto the floor. They're for sure fighting, people being handed out money after the long haired fox doesn't get up after that one.

She hadn't realized she was standing in one place, watching the fight from where she was standing until Heath poked her. "World to Amie, c'mon I found us a place to sit." She shrugged, watching people gamble on fights in a bar but decided to follow Heath off, undoubtedly she was just very hungry and very confused. Her confusion ruling over her hungry like a prey is ruled over by the predator.

She got into a seat, the tables here being... very low in general. A bartender, an otter with some sort of flotation device around it's body, aptly named a Floatzel, dressed in a tuxedo would step over to the two. "What can I get you two?"

"W-Water would be nice." She immediately stammered out after the question was asked, a frown still apparent on her face, though it's hard to tell if it's just the content face or worried and sad face, particularly when talking about a Sobble. Tepig just asks for what Amie would guess is a soda drink she's never heard of or can't remember. She tapped the table, before Heath said, "So what is it that you do remember?"

"Well I remember... I remember... I was sitting. At some window. Towards a black void. I don't remember much else..." She sighs, putting her head down on the table. She's been trying to connect the dots in her head the entire time she had been staring into that cup of tea she drank. Sobble, what the hell is a Sobble? Why the heck am I one? Do I have a home here? Do I have parents? What even happened to me?

"Well, that's not much to go off of unfortunately. Maybe... Maybe if you go exploring you'll maybe figure out some stuff and find out who you are, or where you live here. I mean, someone has to know you, that's for sure." He sighed, turning up to look at the ceiling, looking for a sign for this darn Sobble. It was just, all such an odd experience.

The two of them sat in silence for a solid minute before Amie finally spoke up.

"So... what is that." She points with her hand off towards what looks like a pink balloon with eyes at the front of the bar, eating some berries.
"That's a Jigglypuff."

"And that?" She points to the yellow thing with an orb stuck in it's head (one on the tip its tail too), black striped neck, wearing a hat, and looked like some sort of kangaroo mixed with a sheep.

"That's an Ampharos."

So they sat there, describing the various Pokemon inside the bar they were at until they got their drinks and ate some ice cream. Even after all this learning and all that talking, she only remembered one thing.

That she had a connection to these Pokemon, for some reason she did, but it was beyond her why she felt any attachment, though it was something, so she wouldn't technically complain. When she explained the feeling to Tepig, he immediately was jumping for joy at making progress, even if so little. Maybe Amie would figure out who her parents were after all.

Maybe she would.
