"Why do you hate Jimin?"

------------○●♤●○------------

"It's just.. nothing serious Hobi."

Seokjin smiles as politely as he can, trying to avoid bringing up the topic.

"It cannot be nothing hyung. It has to be something."

The look in his eyes almost desperate. Well, he didn't really want to interfere in someone's personal matters. It's just the fact that Jimin ended up crying remembering his old life when Taehyung and him were best friends.

It came out causally. No malice in his words, but Jimin might have blurted out about Seokjin supporting Taehyung and creating a scene when Tae was ignoring him when he just wanted to talk. That led to a fight and no one knows how things turned wrong. Or how Jimin was left out with no one close to him. And Jimin lowkey hated Seokjin for not letting him speak to his own best friend.

He always seemed like a happy guy, satisfied with his life. But it's not always what it looks like. People don't tend to show what they are going through, unless they are close. And the definition of close differs from person to person.

"Didn't Taehyung tell you anything about it?"

Jin asks. It was quite weird that Taehyung didn't mention it to his boyfriend. I mean, maybe they haven't had that conversation before. But Taehyung should be the first person Hoseok should be asking that to.

"No. I didn't ask him yet. I wanted to know your side first then i'll address the bigger elephant in the room."

He replied calmly. Hoseok was definitely good at talks like these. As if making things better was his part time hobby.

"I don't hate him, okay. He just keeps annoying Taehyung when Taehyung doesn't even want to talk to him."

Seokjin tries to make sense. He too knows that's a stupid answer. But he cannot help find another reason. Taehyung was the cutest human he had ever come across. The one who smiled at everyone and could make anyone's day, complimenting people from time to time and speaking his mind.

The day he joined the basketball team, Seokjin was the happiest human. Everything was fine untill he found Tae crying in locker room one day. He said, he doesn't want to talk to Jimin who happened to be his highschool friend, but Tae didn't want to continue it. Seokjin had tried to make him understand that friendships can't be broken like that, it wasn't so easy.

But Taehyung was persistent on ignoring that boy who he used to call his bestfriend. Not to forget Taehyung always got bullied. He was never the cool guy. He was a shy kid who didn't even open his mouth when around strangers. Coming from a small place along the countryside he had a lot of complexes.
