Chapter 8

"And the winners are..." You watched as the leader revealed the results.

"Yoon Ha-eun and Kim Jong-in."

Everyone clapped and and after the performances, you and Hoseok met Ha-eun and Jong-in before you left to your room.

"Well done, you guys." You and Hoseok say, just like it was telepathy.

"Thanks, but I have something to tell you. Or, we have something to tell you."

"What Ha-eun?" You question, as her hand goes to hold Jong-in's.

"You two are together?"

The two smiled and nodded yes, Hoseok was congratulating them. You were too, but you felt jealous. Everyone is getting someone, but you.

"Guess we should be heading back to our room now, bye Hoseok and Y/N."

You wave goodbye at them and you and Hoseok walk back to your rooms.

You were getting ready to go to bed, you put your clothes that you wore today to the washing basket, ready to wash tomorrow. So did Hoseok, he went to bed earlier than you.

You tried to get Hoseok off your mind, but nothing worked. He was handsome, he was caring, ideally everything you want in a boyfriend. He was an angel in disguise.

(1 month before SK Dance performance).

Everyday, you've been waking up, wondering what would be happening that day. You still weren't able to get Hoseok off your mind.

You and Hoseok got ready to go practice, with Jimin and Eun-ji. Until, as you were on your way to your studio...

"Jung Y/N, can you please come to the reception, thanks." There was an announcement from the speakers, you were confused, you didn't do anything against the rules.

"I wonder what this is about?" Hoseok questioned. He looked worried for you, so did Jimin, Eun-ji looked to be pulling a smirk face.

"I better go. I'll see you at the dance studio."

You went to reception, you saw the main leader waiting for you. He spotted you and walked over to you.

"Hello, um, sir, you called me?"

"Ahh Y/N, yes I did, I have some news for you, but I'd rather tell you privately. Follow me."

You followed him to what seemed like a manager's office. You sat down on a chair, while he went on his computer and looked at you with sadness.

"Y/N, I'm afraid that your mother has umm."

"Has what?"

"She was murdered last night."

Once you heard them words, time felt like it stopped. You couldn't believe it, your mother was killed. You looked at him, hoping he would say it's not true.

"I'm afraid it's true, Y/N, look."

He showed you an article, saying exactly: "A woman was killed in her 40's, last night. She was found dead on the kitchen floor, there was a knife next to her, with puddles of blood all over. She was obviously murdered, the victim was called Jung Ya-won (your mother's name). There was security cameras around the house, it seems that a man called Choi Ahn-jun killed her. However, she had a son who looked like a young adult, he was nowhere to be seen, there has been no sighting of him at all."

You were froze, you were trying to process what happened. Your mom was killed by her so called boyfriend, and Jungkook is missing!

You broke down, you felt like the whole world was against you. You pretty much lost your whole family.
