Chapter 11

The next scene has Peter in the hospital. He's waiting, filled with sadness. The doctor comes to place & tells Peter that she is alive, but she's in a coma. The doctor leaves. Peter looks at the unconscious MJ. He clenches his fist.

We see Cletus Cassidy standing on a building. He sees Eddie Brock walking. He smirks & follows him. Eddie was going to a place where there isn't a single building, but houses, by walking. Cassidy, using his super speed, follows him. Brock has arrived at someone's house. He knocks on the door. We see it opening & we see Gwen Stacy. She is shocked to see him. He tells her that he's sorry for everything he did to her & he now knows that she doesn't deserve him, but someone better. He then leaves. Gwen would feel sorry for him, also because he saved her last time. She closes the door. But behind her, there was Cassidy. He attacks her & she screams.

We see Spider-Man with a backpack, swinging outside, filled with rage. He knows who attacked her. He knows it is Carnage. He tries to find him. He spots Gwen Stacy captured by Carnage. Spider-Man comes to the spot & attempts to save her. They start having a fight. Spider-Man starts losing. Carnage makes an axe using his hand while holding Gwen hostage. He says "Goodbye spider." But then, a black web gets shot on him & he gets pulled back. It's Venom! He punches him, making him fall, but before he hits the ground, Venom makes him hang using his web. He saves Gwen. He shows her that it is a changed & better Eddie Brock from the inside. He tells her to leave. We see Spider-Man looking at Venom, who gives his hand to him. Spider-Man remembers Harry giving his hand to him, then Uncle Ben giving his hand to him in the dream from Spider-Man 2. He grabs his hand. Venom pulls him up. He says "Parker, pretty weak, huh?" Spider-Man is shocked to see that the man who despised him, the man who killed his best friend, has arrived to help him. Carnage frees himself & catches Gwen using his tendrils. Venom & Spider-Man start fighting him while trying to save Gwen. The fight gets more intense. We hear Cassidy's screams being audible. When Cassidy can be seen from the symbiote, both Spidey & Venom attempt to pull both Gwen & Cassidy out. Gwen gets to them successfully but when they pull Cassidy, what they get are his bones! The symbiote has fully consumed him. Carnage would say "Never wound, what you can't kill." Coincidence, right? It then comes to attack Spidey & Venom. They escape from it's grasp.Spider-Man throws the bomb at Carnage & destroys the symbiote & he, along with Venom & all the other people escape.
