An~ I promise I'll try to do as little author notes as possible but I just want to say I love this actress so much and I think she'd be perfect for Amy. Now let's get started ig (btw I'm not very good at 3rd person so bare with me if I accidentally switch up)

Amy pulled the last box out of her baby blue c10 Chevy. She stood at the edge of the pathway looking at her house. Her house. She had spent months saving and with a little help from her grandparents she had been able to get it. It was a little worn down but it had its charm. She was prepared to make this her home. She walked up the porch steps and nearly tripped on a broken board.
"Okay this might have been a bit to much for me."
But she continued on. She would succeed. She knew she would.
Walking in the door the dust filled her nose and she sneezed almost dropping the box. She set the box on the floor. Luckily she had all the furniture put in already, but everything else was up to her. She looked around and she smiled. She walked up the stairs and opened the door to her room. This was one of the few rooms clean of dust. Not to mention painted. It was a coffee brown with a white ornate design across it. She decorated this room herself. She had vines hanging on her wall and fairy lights hanging from her ceiling. She opened her closet and began filling it with her clothes. She quickly finished since she planned on going shopping for more soon. She sighed with satisfaction and clapped her hands together in content. She turned and jumped landing with a soft twump on her bed. It was suddenly hitting her. She was on her own, in her own house, with her own stuff.
"EEEEEEEE" she couldn't help but squeal
She sat up laughing. Then she remembered she made a promise to her grandparents. She ran over to her desk, that she and her grandpa made for her in high-school, and opened her laptop. She quickly clicked her grandmas icon and began video calling her. They answered after a few rings.
"Hey guys I... Guys why are you upside down?" She said noticing the problem.
"Oh sugar cubes, sorry sweetie the tablet is upside down." Her grandma quickly fixed the tablet while Amy and her Grandpa laughed.
Amy and her grandparents were very close. They raised her after all. Amy's grandma was a sweetheart and never swore. She had a terrible habit of it in her 20's and when she started baking she began using ingredients instead. Amy's Grandpa was also her best-friend. They would do everything together. He was always there for her no matter what, and her grandmother was too.
"So. You guys missed me yet?" Amy smiled.
Her grandpas face went blank but Amy noticed his lip curling into a small smile, "Nope, actually it's been quite peaceful without having to make sure you don't fall out of a tree."
Her Grandma gave him a playful hit, "Knock it off Mark, of course we miss her. Anyway she fell in the lake not out of a tree remember."
Amy couldn't help but bursting out laughing. She remembered that day very well.
"So, you settling in okay then?" Her Grandma asked changing the topic, "How's the house?"
Amy looked around as she spoke, "Oh settling in went smoothly and the house needs a little work but I love it already."
They both smiled at this information, "It's good to know you're settling in fine," her grandpa said.
"Yeah it's been-" A loud knock downstairs interrupted her.
"Looks like someone's popular," her grandpa chuckled at his own joke.
"Sorry to cut this short guys," I apologized.
"No it's all right don't worry. Go see whose knocking. We'll talk later." Her grandma smiled.
They said goodbye and Amy closed her laptop. She hurried down the stairs and opened the door and came face to face with a women about her age. She had black curly hair that came to her shoulders, almond skin, and dark green eyes. She was holding a container that she could smell. Chocolate something.
"Hi, nice to meet you, I'm your neighbor-" suddenly a bundle of red came from behind her and grabbed Amy's hand shaking it.
"Hey, how are you. My names Jess. I'm your neighbor. Your house is so pretty. By the way I live for your outfit. Omg we should go shopping-"
"Jess calm down," the girl from before laughed, "as you know this is Jess, my roommate who is very energetic. I really don't know where she learned to talk so fast. My name is Trisha by the way, you can call me Trish. We are your new neighbors."
Amy laughed. They seemed like a dynamic duo for sure.
"Nice to meet you, both of you, my name is Amy," She smiled shaking both their hands.
"Well Amy, there was one thing Jess did say that seemed like she really wanted to do. So, you down for a bit of shopping?" Trish asked.
Jess looked at Amy with her massive blue eyes holding her hands together. She really had that puppy eyes thing down.
"Of course, I planned on going anyway." Amy agreed.
Jess jumped up in joy and began running to down the pathway. "I'm getting my purse, give her the brownies already."
Trish laughed and handed Amy the container. Amy went inside and put it in her fridge. She grabbed her bags along with her laptop and walked out the door to see Trish getting into the passenger seat of a convertible with Jess in the driver seat.
"Get In loser, we're going shopping." She shouted.
Amy laughed and hopped in the back seat as Jess turned on the radio, "Oh I love this song."

(Hold/double tap/just click it and leave really fast to play while reading i don't know what I did but if that doesn't work the song is called Kilby Girl)
The song began a little slow as the car pulled into the street. Trish turned to look at Amy.
"So where you from?" She asked her eyes glistening with curiosity.
"Oh me, I'm from California," Amy smiled.
"What really, wow that's a big move. What made you decide to."
"I love the small town vibe and I found the house for cheap and one thing led to another and here we are." Amy smiled fondly thinking about how she ended up here.
They continued there conversation and after a while they arrived at a mall. They hopped out the car and ran inside laughing. They made there way to the clothes section and began sifting through the options. Suddenly Amy felt a tap on her shoulder. Jess was standing there with her arms full of clothes.
"Dressing room. Now."
Amy had no choice, Jess pushes her toward the dressing rooms and put her in with about eight outfits to try on. She quickly slid the first one on. A blue and white sundress with many strands of fabric making her look like she was wearing a lake. She walked out the room with it in and strutted around like a model as Jess and Trish clapped and cheered.
"Get it girl," Jess shouted earning a few looks from other customers which she didn't even notice, and if she did she just didn't care.
Amy walked back in. After a few more outfits she put on a pair of short short jeans and a beige crop top. She walked out and smiled looking at Trish and Jess. They smiled and clapped again.
"That's definitely a keeper" Trish said.
Amy walked back in and finally got to her last outfit. She walked out with baby blue ripped jeans, a sunflower t-shirt tied up, and yellow high tops. Jess stood there staring.
"You. Are. SMOKING! Girl you can get anyone in this town, and probably the country."
Amy laughed and went back to change to her original clothes. They ended up buying all the clothes Jess had picked. Then they started there journey through the rest of the mall. They made there way down the escalator, and back up it again when they realized Jess was still in the clothes shop. They found a bakery and got lots of pastries. They found an arcade where they played so many games that they had enough tickets for one of the grand prizes. They also managed to find a small laser tag place in the mall. They decided to do a team match of them three vs. nine twelve year olds. They only lost by like twenty-three. They went to another clothes section where they impulsively bought more clothes, then back to the bakery for more food after realizing how hungry the laser tag game made them. After a while they decided it was time to go and walked out of the mall with tons of bags.

They hopped back into the car. They started driving again and Jess looked into the rear view mirror and smiled at Amy.
"So we're doing this again soon right," she asked.
Amy laughed, "of course. Why not,"
She smiled at that, "well there isn't a reason not to. We are friends now and there are no backsies after you've gone shopping together."
Amy chuckled and smiled.
Friends. Real friends, she thought
And the rest of their ride home was filled with jokes and laughing. And maybe a few close calls with Jess almost crashing from laughing to hard.
