Nandini's pov

"Nandu! Wake up Nandu!" Amms shouted at my door waking me up all of a sudden. I kicked Manik out of the bed out of nervousness making his butt kiss the floor.

"What the fuck Nandini!" He yelled rubbing his eyes and his bum as well.

"Sshhh! Amms is here! Ab tum yaha se niklo!" I whisper yelled.

"What's the time?" He asked. I checked it out and replied, "4 o' clock!"

"Itni raat ko kaun uthata hai yar?"

"Amms uthati hai. And it's not night okay, it's early in the morning! Now you leave!"

"But as far as I remember, Amms ne subah 5am bola tha." He murmured holding his bum.

"Change in plan maybe!" I shrugged off.

"Ek minute kaha jaa rahe ho Manik?" I asked seeing him approaching the door. "You can't open that door okay. Jidhar se aaye the udhar se wapas jao." I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Nandu!" Amms voice boomed like a thunder once more. Once I saw Manik out of my sight, I opened the door with my sleepy eyes.

"Nandu get ready for your last task!" Amms ordered as soon as I opened the door.

"Amms it's just 4am!" I stifled a yawn.

"Nandu tell Manik to get ready as well!" I nodded and she left.

Few minutes later all of us were moving towards an unknown destination in two cars.

"Koi mujhe batayega hum sab jaa kahan rahe hai?" An irritated Manik asked.

"Manik yeh toh humein bhi nahi pata. Amms ne Yo ko bhi lane se mana kar diya!" Navya made a sad pout.

"Yo ko choro insano par dhyaan do Navya Mate!" Cabir mocked.

"Meri bhavnaon ka mazak udate hoye tum sab ko zara sa bhi taklif nahi hoti hai na." Navya cried in dramatic tone.

"Mukku zara earphones dena!" Cabir ignored her cries and stuffed his ears with earphones passed on by Mukti.

Half an hour later we reached a temple located at the foothill of a smaller mountain range. We alighted off the car and waited for Amms' car to arrive at the spot.

"Ab yehi baaki tha- Pooja-path. But yeh toh Nandini ka department hai mujhe kyun bulaya yaha?" Manik asked in annoyance.

"Kyunki shadi ke baad pati patni dono ko jimmedariyan uthani padhti hai Manik!" Amms answered from behind surprising us.

"Umm-" Manik stammered.

"Nandini aur Manik tum dono ko Bhagwan Shiv ki pooja karni hogi yaha!" Amms commanded.

"Waah Manik aj toh tu lucky hai bahut asaan sa task hai!" Dhruv winked at Manik.

"I know kar lega tu!" Mukti smiled at him and Alia agreed with Mukti.

"Task yehi par end nahi hota hai Manik!" Amms smirked at him.

"Mujhe pata tha itna asaan kaam nahi hoga!" Navya added earning a glare from Amms.

"Mahadev ki pooja ke baad, yaha ek riwaz hai ki Maa Parvati ke bhi darshan karna hota hai. So uske baad tumhe un," Amms pointed towards a staircase, "sidiyon se upar chadhke Mata Parvati ki bhi pooja karni hogi."

We all gazed at the long staircase. It seemed a never ending one.

"Cool! That's easy!" Manik sighed.
