As the  black and red chariot arrived at the front off the blood moon ball, Marco stepped out and started looking for star, it was a really big palace. Marco thought about why Star went to this ball in the first place, she'd told him about  her and tom's relationship and how he was kinda of a jerk.

'Does Star plan to get back into a relationship with Tom?' Marco thought, it wasn't really his business but the thought of her doing that really hurt him. But there was no chance of that happening...Right?

Marco realized that he was getting a lot of looks from the females at the ball. Marco was known to be a wall flower (that means Marco never had anyone to no one to dance with so he leaned on a wall) at school so he never had this many people staring at him before.

Marco then made his way closer to the duo, he wondered if he should just walk out and take Star home. But even if he did do that it might ruin Star's night, or start an unnecessary fight.

Then suddenly, A random girl walked up to Marco, She looked very tipsy and was probably looking for a quickie or a ride home.She was the type of girl you met in one of those cheesy romance scenes, She had on this beautiful puffy orange ballgown,  with brown high-heeled boots, and a black tiara. And her hair it was like a color that shines through the night, it was the color of blood.

"H-Hey What's a  cute guy like you doing here?" The blood haired girl said between hic's, It was clear this girl had been drinking quite a lot.

Marco didn't want it to be known that he was just here to save his friend, and it'd be better to not bring more attention to himself.

"I'm just here to enjoy the ball. I heard the blood moon would be coming out so I thought it'd be cool to see" Marco said nonchalantly.

"O-oh? well maybe you could come over to my place and I'll show you something really cool" The girl blushed madly as her flame grew bigger.

Marco looked around to see Tom walking away from Star, as soon as Tom was on the other side of the ballroom Marco knew this was his chance.

"Hey um It's been really nice to talk to you and everything but I gotta go. But maybe I could get your number and we could pick this up another time?" Marco said.

As the tipsy girl seemingly contemplated giving this random guy her number. After staring into his red eyes for a bit she gave in.

"Y-yeah that sounds nice, the names Hekapoo call me whenever. And you are?" Hekapoo said

"Marco, Marco Diaz I hope to see you again soon" Marco said, He couldn't believe that actually worked. Was he really that good looking that he got a girl's number on the first attempt ? Maybe being a prince did have it's perks.

"Well take these Marco, come visit me anytime " Hekapoo said as she gave Marco a pair of crimson red pale gold scissors. Those said scissors had pale gold blades and a blood red handle, they looked sharp enough to cut through the air. With that the girl swayed of into another side of the party.

After quickly putting the scissors in his suit pocket. Marco looked back over to Star, Tom was still away. Marco ran over to Star at blinding speed he'd hope she would recognize him with the skull mask on.
