A soft, purple coloured fog surrunded the short, red haired girl as she ventured farther into the dark woods, a faint purple light leading her, beckoning her to continue. She didn't know how long she'd been walking but knew that the sunlight was dying quickly. She thought about returning home but a soft voice spoke in her head, dissmissing the idea.
'Come...'
'Find it...'
'It's yours...'
'It needs you...'
The voice whispered into the girl's mind quietly, lulling her into a sense of ease and entrancing her to continue, the fog growing a bit thicker but the light continuing to shine through. The girl soon found herself in front of a tall stone hill. She pressed her hands against the wall feeling around as she moved, the fog thickening even more. The purple light started shinning brighter as she found her way closer, stumbling as she lost the wall and fell into a damp cave, a sparkling purple light floating a few feet from her. The light.
'Almost there...'
'Follow...'
'It wants you...'
The cave around her was dark, a few water droplets falling to the rock ground making a soft plink as she got up and nodded at the light walking closer to it, the light responding by moving away, heading deeper into the cave. The girl willingly followed, now more curious than entranced by the glowing light that had a small trail of sparks following it. She tried to touch it a few times, managing to get close enough, but each time the light would disappear before reapearing a few feet in front of her, continuing farther in the cave.
"What... what is 'it'?" The girl managed to finally get out, her voice soft, curiousity being heard but she didnt recieve an answer just the voice saying the same thing over and over again in intervals.
'Almost there...'
'Come on...'
The girl sighed smally but nodded, knowing she did still have the choice to go back but, she was too afraid of leaving the light and walking through complete darkness into the night. A few feet ahead of her the light had stopped and started glowing even brighter, small tendrils of light extending from the center, flowing around it. It was a beautiful sight... so the girl watched in awe as the tendrils grew and circled the light, flowing to the ground. Smaller fibers grew from the base creating the shape of a small curved body. Once the fibers were finished, leaving no spot unfiled, the light flashed bright, blinding the girl for a second. After the light dimmed, her eyes opened once again before widening at the sight in front of her. A girl made purely of light stood in front of her with a small smirk on her face. Flowing tendrils of light made up her hair and bright, gem like eyes shone out, the pupils slitted like a cats eye. She wore nothing, her flowing hair the only thing covering her up a bit.
"Almost there..." The light spirit whispered before walking foreward once more, dim light fibers running along the cave walls, a small light forming at the end of the hallway... almost like it was just waiting for her.
The girl nodded smally, looking down, a bit weirded out by the light but kept following non the less. As the pair got closer to the light, the Spirit grew brighter and more real looking but it all dimed when the reached the source of the glow. Sitting on top a pedestal was a small, glowing, purple necklace with a purple, diamond shaped pendant on the end.
'Put it on...'
'It wants you...'
'C'mon what could it hurt...?'
The voices started, getting louder and louder, clustering the girls thoughts as she reached out for the necklace, a purple aura surrounding her hand, scaring her but the thoughts started to get louder and more over lapped.
"Put it on, Crazy" The light spirit whispered into the girl, Crazy's, ear, taking it out of her hands and slidding it over Crazy's neck and letting it settle on her chest, the spirit's gentle smile turning into a wicked smirk, a small, dark chuckle coming from her mouth, replacing the once gentle tone.
"W-what did you do? W-What's happening!" Crazy yelled in fear, gripping onto the pedestal as hot flashes attacked her, sweat dripping down from her forehead. A sharp pain was felt on both her wrists and over the middle of her neck, the feeling like a knife blade slicing into her. She lifted her hand and saw a deep purple line embeded into her skin around her wrist, almost like a tattoo that would never fade.
"W-what is this?!" She yelled, her body chilling as the hot flashes turned to cold, the sweat going away and replaced with shudders. She yelled in pain and slid to the ground gripping the top of her bicep tightly, pain flooding through her entire system, her head pounding. She looked down at the necklace and tried to pull it off but was only recieved with the a painful shock to her chest making her gasp and quickly release the necklace, a few tears falling at the feeling of all the pain.
Crazy hesitantly looked up into the spirit's eyes, wincing more as the pain flew down her arms and chest, the pain being the worse when it crosed over her ribs causing hot tears to fall down her face. "M-Make it stop, please!" Crazy screamed at her. The spirit laughed and kneeled down to her.
"It's almost over... Thank you, dear Crazy, for bearing this curse..." She said with a small smirk as she exploded into tiny twinkling sparks, all of them floating in a line towards the necklace, infusing with it.
A bright light spread through the cavern yet again, but once it settled Crazy lied panting on the floor, her body aching, but the previous pain had disapeared, leaving only small aches on her arms and chest.
Crazy soon opened her eyes and looked at her aching arms, gasping a bit at the swirls and lines of purple that now tattooed her arms. The markings didn't go past her wrists though, where the purple lines were.
"L-Lily's going to freak..." She whispered quietly to herself, thinking of her friend and how protective she was. "I-I have to hide this..." She muttered, getting to her feet and walking back out of the cave and into the morning day light.
