How Far Can We Go?

Things starting to hurt again since Jack left. She had a mental break down in front of him, but as soon as her brother was old enough to take care of him self there would be no more of Emily, on Earth at least. Jake said she would be brought to their home. Emily toke two days off school, and got all homework and assignments done for one month.

"Emily, are you sure you'll be okay? A whole weekend by yourself after everything that happened you never went one day without me."

"Look I know you've helped me mentally, but now I've got to help myself." Emily had to clean, and learn how to cook better then her mother hopefully."Bye, go have some fun for me!"

Emily had done everything within one day, read all night, and had nothing to do.

"Em, do you mind if Zachary spends a couple nights there?"

"Who is that, one of your friends or something?"

"No. He is Jeff' s older bro."

"I guess as long as all of you behave. How many of you, I need a head count if I'm going to cook for all of you."

"There is five. And please say you can cook better than mum."

"I can. Gotta go." With that she started cooking, but something bothered her about Zachary. She once briefly dated a guy named Zach, could they be the same people? No not in a hundred years.

"Hello?" Came an unsure voice that the Zach she new would never speak like. Yet she received a chill at the voice." Hello, come in. Introductions are in order, I believe."

"Yeah sis. This is John, Jeff, Rick, Zach, and you remember Nike."

"Oh, yes, Nike. Nice seeing you again, and all of you nice meeting you!"

"You know me. We went out for two years."

"ZACH!"

Emily had past out for half an hour. They guys were getting worried, and Zach informed them Emily should be in the hospital. Just then ,though, Emily woke up in a start, hitting heads together Emily and Zach both moaned in pain.

"Got me good there. Hahaha!"

"Yeah got myself good too,"Emily snapped. Getting medication for her headache," Zach do you need anything?"

"No I don't get headaches, but I think that might be overdose."

"Ha, if that's overdose then you outta see how much she takes in one day!"

"Shut up! How about we eat, now," Emily said in a dangerous voice. "I didn't cook all this for nothing. After all I hoped you would all have a hearty apatite."

"I think we do, but do you?"

"Yes. You should see how much I can eat when I want. I will not though."

"I remember how much you could!"

"Hahaha. Good times."

"I thought you didn't remember,"Jack looked at her all frowns when he knew she had lied. That's why they never had secrets. Nevertheless he never forced her to say anything, but is blue eyes had a way of making her spill ever thought. But that couldn't happen now.

"Yes, I think I should get started on the dishes."

"Time to go to bed!"

"Oh!!!!!!! Please could we stay up a little bit longer?"

"No." Walking into the next room forgetting Zach was sleeping get there she went to get some more blankets.

"Hello," Zach looked at her. She knew better to stick around.

Instead of listing to the sane part of her she stayed. Against her better judgement it was fun, but she still remembered how much pain comes from love. It's why she tries not to love anyone not even her brother.

        "Hello, Earth to Emily!"

        "Sorry, I got obducted once, ever once in a while I'll zone out. You can't tell anyone what I just told you though."

        "Why?"

        "The ones that obducted me don't know I remember, also they made time here stand stiil when they had me. So  if one night a year ago you felt you slept to much thats why."

        "Lovely. Are you holding up okay?"

        "Yeah. I've been good considering the curcomstansis."        

        "Well i was wonder-for old times sakes- want to go on  a date with me?"
