AN: Hi - this chapter is short. A little bit of a filler. But it's going to be a double update! So enjoy bubbies. BTW - I imagine Jason Momoa as Jay :)

No words are spoken as we enter the apartment. We both split off once I slip into the guest bedroom and neatly hang up my white outfit. I'd manage to not stain it because I hadn't eaten one bite from the beautiful dinner in front of me.

It wasn't very late but I was ready for bed. It took little to no time for a restless sleep to hit once my head hit the pillow and the muted sounds of traffic lulled my eyes shut.

The slumber didn't last long, as I woke up with a rumbling stomach. When I check my phone it was only a little past eleven at night but I was starving. I hadn't brought the salmon home with me because I didn't feel like seafood traveled well.

I tiptoe out into the kitchen and flicker on one of the lights. I open and snoop through Harry's pantry where there is only health bars and oats. I was looking for something sweet or salty, or both. I was still feel down since the dinner and junk food always made me feel better.

After the freezer only proved to have steamed vegetables and frozen ground turkey, I think about Ubering but know that Jay would kill me by not checking with him. So instead, I dial his number.

"Everything okay, Miss. Dames?" Jay answers on the second ring. His voice concerned as I rarely called him, especially at this time of night.

"Erm, yeah. I'm sorry to bother you. If you're not busy, could you drive me to get something to eat?" I ask, feeling like a little kid.

"Certainly, I will text you when I'm at the back entrance," he replies easily with no hesitation. I loved him, he was such a nice guy.

"Thank you!" I chirp before abandoning the kitchen to tug on some leggings.

Harry's door is shut and I can't see any light peering out from under so I don't even think about letting him know.

I lock the door on the way out when I get the text from Jay and feel some excitement at doing something spontaneous for the first time in forever. Even if was just going out in the late hours to get some junk food, it wasn't meticulously planned by Harry nor I's team and that was a relief.

"Thank you so much," I tell Jay as I slide in the back seat.

He wasn't in his normal dress pants and button up. The bodyguard had on a plain navy shirt and dark-washed jeans. His usual tight bun nowhere in sight and his long locks flowing past his shoulders. His hair the same color as his full, scruffy beard.

"I'm sorry for dragging you out this late," I apologize as I am guessing he was relaxing at wherever he Was staying.

He chuckles kindly, "it's my job. It's no problem. So where are we off to?"

"I just want junk food," I inform him, "So any gas station or connivence store"

"Sounds good."

We're driving through the city, I couldn't believe how busy it was at this time of night. People were filling the streets and loitering around. He spots a small, 24/7 gas station that looks near empty so he pulls in there.

We walk in, relieved to see that no one beside the bored cashier is very invested in a video game on his phone, no bothering to look up at us even for a second.

Jay follows behind me as I browse the snack aisles, I pick up far more food than I need but it was comforting me to be able to fell a little normal. Indulging in junk food wasn't something I did as often anymore, which was good. But it helped ease my anxiety, food was comfort. It always had been.
